Chamera Lake was a very good place. We really had a nice time there. We did boating there and enjoyed a lot. Kids liked that place too.

The view from the top of the Chamera Lake and dam is pretty good. Believe that there are boating arrangements in the lake. In case anybody needs to avail, that needs to be specifically told to the driver. Else he will provide the birds eye view of the lake

Nice view on the way to lake. There is a lovely restaurant which was closed in December. However there are many fast food centres where you can get Maggie, momos, kadi/rice, rajma/rice etc... A boat ride is recommended to enjoy the weather and surroundings.

Good place wasted. Can be developed by state government around the dam. But for now can be avoided, only advisable if entering Dalhousie enroute chamba like a stop over.

The views of the mountain from the lake is beautiful. The water is as clean as crystal. One must take at least 30 minutes boat ride in the lake. For more adventurous people there is Speedboat to enjoy. If you are staying in the GRAND View Hotel don't forget to carry the 20% discount coupon.

You can keep Chamera as one of the places to visit near Dalhosie. It will take about 1.5 hours through taxi. This manmade lake has options like boating, speed boating etc. You can also spend time looking at the sunset towards evening. The dam nearby is also a good attraction to visit. Though entry to dam and photography is not... More
