Great Speed Boat

We had very good time here. We took a speed boat ride. The ride was for 8min and the cost is 1100 per person which is on the costlier side.

There is mystic boat ride which is very pleasant experience. This lake is 700 feet deep . villagers near by use the boats for their daily commute though lake. if you are lucky then you might see marriage party moving in boat :)

Chamera Lake is about 40kms from the quaint little hill station of Dalhousie. After crossing Banikhet (6kms from Dalhousie), the road opens up and straightens as well, making it a nice drive passing thru small villages However, Chamera Lake/Dam by itself was not a spot worth the 4 hour drive to and fro. Even after reaching the Dam, the lake... More

The River Ravi gushes downstream here until it is being stopped by the most famous Chamera Dam and this lake is formed just before the dam. Great experience to watch this.

It took a long drive from Dalhousie. The lake and its environment is good. However the boatmen were away, and without a boat ride, this whole visit did not have any other value adds.

Takes a decent drive from dalhousie to get here. It is basically a reservoir next to a dam. indulge in boating & photography. pretty nice. Also, don't miss the Chai & Maggi near the entry of the dock. Awesome
