Location--golaghat and tezpur districts of Assam Nearest airport--4 hrs guwahati by road 2 hrs tezpur/jorhat by road Animal spotting-one horn rhino,elephants,barking deer,wild boar,all types of fowls and tigers. Safari----jeep safaris and elephant safaris. Bookings for safaris for all three ranges is done at kohora,park admin agency. Spotting is very good. Park is closed during monsoons.

certainly a life time experience. one horn rhino and its habitat still intact the way its supposed to be. get there fast before it goes extinct.

The elephant safari at Kaziranga offers you an amazing experience to see the one-horned rhino at close quarters. The experience is worth the early start and lasts for an hour. The jeep safari offers a different experience with wild elephants, deers and other animals and birds.

Every visit is breathtaking and awesome , with nature at its best, amidst wildlife and amazing view the eyes and the mind can capture. I love coming here ,being nearer to my hometown reckons me again and again.

Excellent national park, majestic in its location and spendour. We could not spot many animals as this was not the appropriate time for spotting animals

Did 4 safaris totally. 3 jeep safaris in central, western and eastern range respectively and 1 elephant safari in western. All safaris were awesome and had very good and close rhinoceros sightings. Elephant safari is recommended in Western range as one can see Rhinoceros with its baby at a very close range. Was able to spot elephant herd, wild boars... More

I took 3 Safari's across different ranges of the forest, and an Elephant Safari(not to be missed.. bookings to be done specially for this), it was a thrilling experince to see the one horned rhino's grazing the vast grasslands freely.. some of them with their young ones.. in the Agratoli range we had good sighting of multiple herds of elephants..herds... The trip to Kaziranga, on Elephant was so wonderful. you see the Rinos in their natural surrounding, and at such a close range, it was a great experience, and would recommend everyone for at least 1 visit. Budget: 500 rupees ticket per head, 500 camera, 1000 elephant ride, 600 double room in national park lodge per 2 head. Price for foreingers is 10x, but no more service. You can buy tickets at 7 p.m. in national park office. Ticket office located on opposite side of main road than national park, about 300 meters by road from police... More
