My wife & I visited this winery on a Monday. The Winery grounds are very clean and maintained very well. The store has something for everyone. We decided to have a late lunch and ordered their Summer Salad and Spicy Pizza. They were fantastic! We bought a bottle of wine to go with lunch and sat in the covered deck... More

This wine store had a little something for everyone. We went purely to taste and buy wine but the store included many wine themed gifts and a small cafe. I was a bit surprised that there was a 50 cent charge for each wine we tasted. I believe Ohio has a state law that a fee must be charged but... More

I'm happy that you enjoyed our selection of wines! Our samples are 25 cents each (as required by state law). I'm sorry you misunderstood. We hope to see you again soon! More

We stopped in at this place on the way to other wineries. This is a great little place with some delicious wines. You are able to sample some wines at $.25 a small 'shot'. I tried several and quickly found a few that I loved. Great wine with a good price.

I was visiting the area with a group of three college friends. We chose this area for the wineries (and to sit by a pool, but the rain changed those plans). We were very impressed with the Breitenbach Winery. It was a bit crowded when we first arrived and we had some trouble figuring out the sampling system. Once we... More

I had wanted to buy a bottel of white wine for a friend, found two other that I had wanted for my self. The lady's that work there know their wines. They are able to help guide you through and find that bottel you want to take home. There you are able to taste the wine before you buying this... More

After leaving Amish area Holmes county stopped at this local winery for a sample. They specialize in white wines and the sweeter varieties. We tend to like the Riesling wines and they do have a few of this variety. Very knowledgeable staff and eager to help when you have questions. They also make a Dandelion wine which is unusual but... Our favorite place to stop for some wine, while we drive through Amish country in the Holmes county area of Ohio. They are always developing new wines and we love to stop and sample their new blends. They also have cheese and crackers, as well as accessories to go with your wine or for gift giving.

We went during the Dandelion festival in May. The festival is on a hilltop and the view is quite lovely. We got to try dandelion ice cream and it was delicious! The dandelion wine is what they are known for though, and deservedly so. It is a wonderfully sweet wine. I'm glad we stopped in!

I'm so glad you enjoy our Dandelion wine! We make it from the dandelion blossoms picked by Amish families. More
