We did and it was a good idea. As we are Columbus Zoo donors, we received a coupon for two free tours. This was on a fairly nice smaller tour buss (bigger than a van but smaller than the school buses they used to use (and still used for transport from the parking lot to the main plaza). These buses... This is an absolute hidden gem in Ohio! It's a little tricky getting there, but absolutely worth it. We booked our tour ahead of time and due to traffic arrived late, and they were happy to accommodate us on the next available tour, which was just 15 minutes later. The tour itself was breathtaking, and absolutely not something I ever... More

I am proud that Ohio has a nature reserve like this. It is a wonderful experience for any age. Its not the average activity for children but will amaze. If you cant afford to go to Africa or other exotic animal vacation you can afford to come here.

My husband and I arrived at the Wilds in the pouring rain, but it didn't even matter. As soon as we got there they directed us onto a open truck to see the grounds. 10,000 acres of reclaimed strip mines with wild animals roaming free at every turn. It was truly amazing. Camels, bison, zebras, red-crowned cranes, rhinos (two kinds)... More

The Wilds is a great place to visit! And the great thing is everyone will enjoy it! I have been here many times and with many different age groups, and they all had a great time! I have been with my grandmother-never seen her smile or laugh so hard! And with my boyfriend and also with a friend and her... More

We used the Lodge for a 3-night company retreat and arranged for a private tour of the Wilds. Our entourage was escorted from the Lodge to the start of the tour, where we were met by a 20+ passenger tour van. Our guide was very friendly, informative and easy to get to know. She customized the tour to whatever we... More

Visited with my mom and sister, we had an amazing time. This was our first time ziplining and our guides Nick & Chris were great.

Went to The Wilds for the first time last weekend and it was amazing. We booked the zip line safari tour and were very impressed with our tour guides, the amazing views, and how friendly the entire staff was on our visit. Our tour guides, Toni and Jess, were fantastic!! Both of them had an answer for every question we... More

The animals and the staff are outstanding. The open air safari was 2.5 hours long and well narrated by our guide. It was easy to see the animals. If you have a zoo membership to another zoo, bring your pass and I'd with you for a discount on the cost of the safari. In addition to the safari there is... More
