This park is a quiet tranquil retreat from High Street just a block away. It has paths, tennis courts, a pond, and shelter house. In the summer it is taken over by many awesome festivals, so if you visit in summer make sure to check for events!

This is a Columbus landmark! There are many festivals that take place in this park. Comfest being one of the greatest. When there isn't a crazy fun fest it's a great place to walk during a lunch break or take the kids for a day in the park.

Goodale Park is a huge green space in the heart of the Short North area of Columbus. It's a great place to relax and have a picnic after doing some shopping in the many shops on High street, a block away

This is still a pretty park but it's urban nature makes it a bit rough and ready. It has interesting features such as the elephant fountains and it is kept up very well but it is very much a city park. The number of homeless people you may encounter can be disconcerting.

Goodale Park is a great place to walk, sit and enjoy the fountain, hear a concert on the bandstand in the summer, and have kids play on the play ground year-round.

This is my favorite outdoor spot in Columbus. I consider it my own backyard as I'm an Arena District resident with no private green- space. It's a mellow spot to walk the dog, take a nap, enjoy the magnificent magnolia trees when they are in bloom, shoot the breeze with some neighbors, or make a new friend. Over the years... More

I've been to Goodale Park numerous times and in the 1990's I used to pay .25 Admission to enter the Public Pool area that had fountains you could sit under and it had a small Concession stand. There are walking paths. The Annual Community (Comfest) Festival is here in June. The last time I was here was in 2006..

I have attended a few different community festivals. Very nice park. Clean. It's easy to get to and large enough for many different types of events. Nice to just take grandkids there to play.
