Well. How can you visit columbus and not make a stop in the German village brewery area? Old brick streets restaurants, great food, drinks. History!!

Located in the center of Columbus, and right next to the hockey Arena this place is espicially booming during/after/before hockey games. Regardless I was there several times on days where there was no hockey game, but still great fun! Different specialty bars, and lots of locals. Good place for a night out in Cbus.

Had some time to spend walking around the beautifully restored architecture, unique shops, brew houses, bookstores and don't forget to start your walk at the visitor's center. They'll provide you with a walking map, you can watch a brief 20 minute video which will tell you about the area, it's original inhabitants, the efforts to restore the buildings and how... More

Good place to spend an afternoon, catch North Market and then walk over to the ballpark for an evening game. Best micro-brew places I found were North High Brewery and Columbus Brewing Company but didn't try them all. Nice to see the area on its way back.

Central Ohio's micro-brewery hotspot. I recommend staying a couple days to walk around. Over six breweries within walking distance. Don't miss North High Brewery, Barley's, and Elevator. Great food everywhere. North market is close by also. Parking is a nightmare ($5-20 per day), ditch the car and get on foot.

It's not quite a real district, at least not yet. Long way to go to be German Village or Short North. But good parking, fun bars, try the fish and chips at the Claddaugh (or rather split an order). On Sunday nights, Claddaugh attracts Irish musicians, a real treat for those of us who like to travel to Ireland.

There are a couple bars that are clearly worth going to (Columbus Brewing Company, World of Beer, etc), but outside of maybe 4-5 bars, there isn't much else to see or do. As an area, it is hard to call it a "must see".

The Brewery District is the restored industrial area next to the German Village neghborhoods. The Brewery District has a variety of bars, restaurants, entertainment, a winery and really gorgeous restored architecture. Really worth checking this out.
