A very fun place to travel each summer. We always go to see the Butter cow and to visit one of the Schmidt's booths. The music and entertainment are very good. Parking is plentiful. A must for every Ohioan to experience at least once.

The parking cost daily but we bought a weekend pass to access everyday which was nice! Security was present at our event which made it feel safer. The food vendor inside the showroom was lacking. The food was expensive and the fries were very bad. The Restroom inside the main showroom was always busy and a line a mile long.... More

Never been to this fairgrounds and it was in March so kinda chilly weekend. If your not familiar with Equine Affair its a very large horse show. The facility is huge so wear comfortable shoes. It rained previously in the week so there were some major puddles but the mud was not bad. Tip: bring some type of seat cushion... More

Under construction and the parking lot is horrid to try and maneuver. Was not impressed with the Buckeye Building and only 1 bathroom either. Normal price for parking - $5

Went here with the family for the Ohio State Fair. It of course is basically during the hottest time of the year, but they do a nice job with parking and shuttles, and trying to keep it clean and family friendly. They also host a number of events here in the off season in some of the smaller size centers.

Attended a model train show there recently. Building was a 'barn.' Required lots of walking to get from parking lot to show building. The area seems best suited to what it was built for: a state fair with lots of livestock!

I have lived in five states, and this is the best State Fair of all! The fairgrounds are easy to get around. Parking is quick and easy, with the truck that picks you up and drops you near your car. The fairgrounds are always kept clean. People emptying trash, which helps to control wasps, and restrooms clean. Always check for... More

We have been to the Ohio Expo Center many times for multiple events and have always found it to be well cared for. The location is easily accessed as it is beside I71.

The Ohio State Fair is a must in the summer around Columbus. As a youngster I sold Coke at the Fair in 1954. Located just north of the city. The Ohio State Fair is one of the biggest Fairs in the country, The Fair Grounds also host several other events year around, including the Quarter Horse Congress, the biggest horse... More
