we go every year to the all american quarter horse congress and enjoy the show, however it seems every year the parking officers are rude. the parking ticket booths are usually friendly and okay.. this year we got a grumpy one. and the officers were rude when we were getting there in the rain storm and needed to get parked... A little expensive for what it was, but flavorful treats all around. Won't go hungry there! Funnel cakes, fried everything, sweets, and drinks galore. Something for all ages and all stomachs!

Check it out. If they still have it the butter sculptures. They are always mesmerizing to me. Nice state fair!

We go as a family every year. Love the turkey legs and rotated corn. Everything you'd expect and more from a state fair. Ohio does it up right. Don't miss the butter sculptures and the sand art. Concerts also available. Make sure to visit the naturalist center!

There hasn't been a year since I have moved to the Columbus area that we have missed going to the Ohio State Fair. It is VERY important to pay attention to the color code and number/letter where you park. If you don't, you will have a disastrous experience finding your car when you leave. This last year, the shuttles were... More

I have been going to the Ohio State Fair for over 50 years and I met my wife there in 1970. I sold Coke and she sold Pepsi. I went twice this year, once with my wife of 40 years once with my friend who worked in the Coke stand and my son. Both trips were great, but we prefer... More

Loved his tour - hated the arena - too hot in there. Being that there were so many people in the arena, it should have been air conditioned or atleast have more fans working.

My beau and I took went to the Ohio State Fair a few weeks and we had such a good time. We brought our walking shoes and indulged in such good food and drinks. There were animals, rides, games and so much to see and do. I recommend it next year for people of all ages.

So I walk up to the gate with my boyfriend and some random lady offers him free admission....not sure why, but he went in. I was in free for military which was nice because I thought we'd have to pay to get in. It's standard for a fair; the food was a little pricey. My boyfriend got the philly cheese...those... More

Love the state fair! Visit the Department of Natural Resources area- lots of free things for the kids to do. If you're lucky you'll get to see Jenny Richards from Shawnee State Park with her snakes and some Scioto County Junior Rangers helping handle them. Take in the logger show, try to catch a fish. Visit the butter cow and... More
