We so enjoyed our time (3 hours) at the Conservatory. I took almost 200 photos! Palms, bonsai, lillies, orchids, butterflies, bromeliads, all healthy and colorfully interspersed with works by Dale Chihuly (inside and outside). It was lovely evening. Be sure to ask for Senior Discount. My only suggestion...label the main entrance more clearly.

I recently officiated a wedding at the Franklin Park Community Garden. I drive by this park often, but have never gone to the back to see the community garden. It was awesome. I am going to make a point to visit there more often.

Woke up to rain on our second day in Columbus and decided to check out the Franklin Park Conservatory. Perfect to say the least. Cold and damp outside, warm and toasty inside. The place is great. We walked through the entire thing in about an hour and a half. Watch a glass blowing demonstration and checked out the "Giant Bug"... More

Best place to visit several times a year. I bought my membership when the kids were little to have a place to go during winter and rainy weather so they could get out of the house. There are many programs available for kids, and the birthday parties are fun. There are always different exhibits to see and don't miss the... More

A stroll through the park was relaxing. The Chihuly Glass display was breath taking and the pictures were divine. Very well taken care of, clean bathrooms and no out place repairs or construction. The Butterfly display was very nice, a place to go and relax. Children thought it was awesome. They want to visit again.

A surprisingly satisfying experience seeing all the lovely gardens and special plantings. The gift shop inside was fun to pick up a special gift item or two.

Franklin Park is one of the best botanical parks in the nation. Butterflies are still here and they are truly wonderful. The glass art of Dale Chihuly were a great addition. But the core remains the flowers and the plants… beautiful throughout. A real gem for Columbus.

This is a lovely and quiet place to get away and just enjoy the peaceful beauty of the gardens. Most young kids and even teens don't realize its there. The first thing out of their mouths is awesome.

We have the national pass for botanical gardens and have been to some of the best ones. This compares favorably with the top sites. We thought it was very well taken care of, not a lot of disrepair or unfinished work/projects that you sometimes see in places that don't have the money to fix things up. In particular, the butterfly... More

Nice three hours or so on recent rainy day. Themed areas are interesting. The glass art is spread throughout and is beautiful. The drawback for us was that the palm room was closed for a wedding. Would be nice if they told you that up front and let you decide if you wanted to buy admission when only part of... More
