Travel down Broad Street away from the city and you will find FPC. It is a wonderful oasis of beauty and solitude whether you are walking the outside grounds or venture inside. Check out the webpage to see what is special events are going on. Cooking classes? Music? Outdoor cooking? Social events? Summer camp for kids. So much to offer.

We came to a Columbus for a family graduation and stayed for a day to do some sightseeing. The Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is a little pricey for admission ($12) but it was an hour of a unique mix of floral and artistic experience. There are different greenhouse areas you would expect to see in this type of... More

Hadn't been to the Franklin Park Conservatory for several years. I was so impressed with the all the different displays (desert, rainforest, butterfly exhibit, and more). It is such a treasure to have in Columbus and should not be missed. We happened to be there on a "Latin" night and had live music, which was a treat.

When I found out they house a collection of Dale Chihuly glass art I had to go. The glasswork is gorgeous of course, but the flowers are equally so. I love the orchid collection. Even on a rainy day you can still go there and see so much. Totally worthwhile.

Franklin Conservatory has loads of butterflies in all sorts of situations. My favorite were the ones sitting on the Chihuly glass. The gardens are very nice with loads of opportunity for the macro photographer. There is a nice park across the street to cook out or eat lunch. Admission is free with a reciprocal agreement membership such as Cleveland Botanical... More

We've been to Franklin Park Conservatory many, many times over the years. We always enjoy going. They're offering more and more special events and we've enjoyed going to FPC for more than just viewing the botanicals. We went to the Merry & Bright Christmas event last year and the Halloween Trick-or-Treat event last Halloween. FPC always does a great job... More

The park and conservatory are really nice. Beatiful flowers and plants. Check it out when they have butterflies inside the conservatory. Great place to walk.
