This is such a beautiful and unique experience in Columbus. The gardens are beautiful and interspersed among them are art installations. We were lucky enough to get to experience the Bruce Munro art installation which was just incredible. There is also Chihuly art that is always there. There are exhibits that are constantly changing with the season so there is... More

The beautiful grounds, combined with a huge butterfly garden, conservatories full of Chihuly glass make this a must see. It's a magical place that my children love.

Pleasantly surprised. The amount of Chihuly glass was amazing, it was the largest amount I've seen in one place. Besides the normal "conservatory" stuff (tropical rain forest, zen garden, desert garden etc) they have glass blowing, a huge butterfly garden (they check you on the way out to make sure no butterflies sneaked out with you). The have a large... More

We enjoyed our walk through the conservatory and around the grounds. The the Dale Chihuly glass sculptures are especially nice. We also caught a glass blowing exhibit.

When we have a few days in a city, we like to seek out venues like this. We have seen some really nice ones; places like Longwood Gardens, Butchart Gardens, and Atlanta Botanical Gardens. So, with some tough competition, we generally don't expect much. Franklin Park is one of the best facilities we never heard of. There is lots of... More

Visited with a friend who loves outdoor plants but not butterflies...it was a compromise. In any event, this is a wondeful conservatory. The layout and variety of exhibits are a joy! The butterfly area reminded me of Butterfly World in Florida. Butterflies are released twice a day, not as many as I thought, but exciting nonetheless. A real bonus for... More

The butterfly conservatory was bright, vibrant, and a breath of fresh air. Many different butterflies to see! My wife and I were surprised to find the fruit they grow in the butterfly conservatory actually serves as the butterflies food, we've never seen that at any other butterfly conservatory. The artwork was AMAZING - all fashioned by Chihuly, a world-reknown blown-glass... More

The Pro Musica series held at the Franklin Park Conservatory was a great evening out. The weather was perfect and the lighting of the conservatory after dark is a great feature especially if you can capture a full moon. The FPC offer year round events and is well worth the visit any time of the year.
