I've been there more than a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely a beautiful place to visit in the sunshine - I really love the butterfly garden. There is also a very large atrium with a special species of colorful bird in the same area, and they are a thrill to play with! The atrium guide is always SO... more

A good place to go when they have the butterfly exhibit. A little overpriced, but enjoyable. It only takes an hour go go through, but it is more fun for kids. more

If looking for an alternate, but enjoyable diversion, Franklin Park offers a tour through their Botantical Gardens, just east of Downtown. We particularly enjoyed the garden area with model trains, which was a hit for obvious reasons with the youngest in our party. The butterfly exhibit -- which is... more

My husband and I got to the Franklin Park Conservatory with the Chihuly Exhibit at 3:45 PM thinking we could easily see the whole exhibit, but we left a half hour past closing time {no they did not shoo us out!} and wishing we had come earlier. Now we are both photographers so that explains why we did not want... more

The Franklin Park Conservatory offers a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. Located just outside downtown Columbus, this magnificent indoor botannical garden features multiple micro-environs showcasing flora and a few fauna. There are a few benches throughout for those seeking repose or a quiet read. The bonsai collection rivals those of Boston's Arnold Arboretum and the... more

This is a world class exhibition. Beautiful blown glass glows iridiscent among the greenery. Lots of surprises - must see! more
