While you're there at an event there are lots of local restaurants in the area to visit. Many within walking distance and a new shuttle bus service too.

Tons of bars, even a piano bar (a must!), and tons of restaurants to check out. My favorite here is Gordon Bursche (spell check?) It's a high end micro brewery with wonderful food! So wonderful we bring our parents here when they come to visit. Love them!

On a recent trip to Columbus we had the opportunity to stay at a condo in the heart of the Arena district. It was fabulous. There are so many restaurants and bars in a relatively concentrated area. Park your car once and walk everywhere. We went to an NHL game one night and a baseball game the next afternoon. We... More

We went to a hockey game to see the Blue Jackets play the Red Wings. Plenty of bars, restaurants and neat place to walk--when it is above freezing. If you are going to an a baseball game, hockey game or another event in the area-go early and grab something to eat and drink. Why didn't they put the casino down... More

Came on a weekend when there was no game, but piped music was still a nice touch. Most bars were closed, some restaurants open though. Saw the large arch that once opened up the old Union Station, but no lights on at night to give it a glow. Clean environment though, which can be said of most of Columbus

Great place to go for some night life. The heart of this district is obviously the arena where the Bluejackets play. Plenty of bars & restaurants around the area. The short north is another famous district for Columbus and its right next to the arena district.

Walked here and ate dinner at Buca. There are many options and things to do. Good views as well! Definitely worth the time to check out and see what it has to offer.

This go go area of Columbus has major league sports venues, music/entertainment venues, bars/clubs, and the wonderful North Market, an iconic indoor market & dining spot. Good prices and great variety. If this isn't enough, just pop up to High St, and you have a mile lone strip of wonderful galleries, restaurants, pubs and small local shops. Check out the... More

Aside from dealing with places to park - it can be confusing. I love this area, one of my favorite places to hang out is the BIG BANG Piano bar.
