Walking up and down High Street was a very fun day (11am - 6pm) for my husband and I. We stopped in shops, galleries, and small restaurants along the way as we ran into interesting places. We had especially good service at Wine on High and The Press Grill. We found great olive oils & vinegars at the Green Olive... More

The changes to the Short North over the past few years are awesome. It used to be just a drive thru the area going to Jackets games. Now we love the Gallery Hops, trying the different restaurants and browsing the strip. The best change has been the addition of the Hubbard Parking Garage. We no longer have to fight for... More

It could have been my high expectation from the first time experiencing Short North. Food and coffee was awesome and done very very well. There are interesting novelty shops and one of a kind bars. However, there seemed to be a slight variation of style and diversified culture. There seemingly was the same posh minimalist style that most (not all)... More

Gallery Hop is the best. You gotta go there if you don't do anything else! Street performers, art, people and food. What more can you ask for?

This area has really been revitalized. There are tons of great local shops and restaurants. The first Saturday of the month they do a special "gallery hop" which is especially fun. Many of the stores and restaurants have special things going on and lots of people walking around checking it all out. There is a little bit of something for... More

We were up in Ohio to take our dog to OSU and stayed at the Hyatt right there at the beginning of the Short North. The art district was very fun to wander. There are so many local eateries and art shops and galleries, there was so much to look at. It reminded me of Bardstown road for anyone from... More

This is my second visit here - each time it gets better! Very busy place, though. The only place in Short North with a waiting list.

Great area for a date or to hang out with friends for the day. Be ready with your walking shoes on. Make sure you stop at the North Market. Lots of little shops and Art and thrift shopping, tattoo shops, lots of trendy places and loads of different places to eat. On a pretty day it's worth the trip. Search... More

Located on the northern edge of downtown Columbus, the Short North Arts District offers a variety of shops, restaurants, art galleries, etc. Great place to walk after your evening meal.
