Lots of small shops and restaurants. Near to downtown Columbus. The best thing about this area are the lights which continuously change colours. These hang on some hugh arches lining the road.

Exploring Short North is definitely fun. I was in Columbus for a conference and had only a short time to explore, so I was moving quickly. The art in a window at 686 N. High Street was so unique and eye-catching, I stopped and gawked for a while, then couldn't resist going inside. On a Thursday afternoon, I was the... More

Brought an approx. 30 person mixed aged group to the Short North Arts District for lunch and shopping. Group of men and women and the high point seemed to be ice cream at North Market. North Market is similar to Reading Terminal in Phillie with a mix of green groceries, spice shop, coffee and pastry places along with butchers and... More

I lived in the short north for about three years while I was attending The Ohio State University. It was a shining moment in my life living right on High Street and having access to the many festivals and shops in the region. Literally, anything you want to do, (visit Goodale Park, have a night out on Park Street, grab... More

Great food, galleries, shops. If you're in/around the Columbus area, don't miss a stop to the Short North. Breakfast at Tasi, lunch at Northstar Cafe, ice cream at Jeni's, shopping at Homage, and so much more. Great times in the Short North.

It's always fun to get out and about in the Short North. Just make sure you take a break from your shopping and stop in at LEVEL for a drink. If you are lucky Tony will be working behind the bar. Take a minute and relax with a nice refreshing beverage!
