Packed full of restuarants and unique stores

We visited during the day so no crowds fortunately. Lots of interesting restaurants and shops to visit. We loved the Three Dog Bakery and Native cold pressed juices

Although we visited on the wrong day/wrong time of day (Monday-lunchtime), when many stores/restaurants were closed we got the gist of this area. It's very nice with a multitude of shops, restaurants and galleries. Very urban setting, with good signage and parking. Would be fun to visit at night.

If you enjoy finding hidden works of art, here's the place! As you walk down you can see local works of art on the walls of some buildings. Plus, a ton of art galleries along the way. Some chic/high-end places to eat too!

Parking can be a hassle but there is a free bus called CBUS. It travels NOrth and South every 10 to 15 minutes. Short North has plenty to do like shopping, eating, and drinking. I am sure there is something for everyone. Check out the North Market it's right there too with a lot to do. There is plenty places... More

Along with German Village and Grandview Heights, the Short North is one of the must-visits of Columbus. Great restaurants and quirky shops. The first Saturday of every month is the Gallery Hop, which is a lot of (crowded) fun. Good luck finding a place to park.

The Short North continues to amaze me. Although I've lived and played here for 15 years, the list of "positives" seems never-ending! Such a wide diversity of restaurants, galleries and retail mean that you continuously have something new to consider and experience. Even what can seem mundane - such as grocery shopping - can turn in to an exciting experience... More

Parking can be a hassle, but once you find a place, just walk around and have fun. There are art galleries, specialty shops, and great restaurants and bars. Two of our favorites are Double Comfort and Press Grill.

I lived in the short north area 20 years ago and was thrilled to see just how far the area has come along! The wrought-iron archways really make the area feel more cohesive. My 10 year-old and I had fun exploring the various shops like Big Fun, fair trade retailer, and Rocket Fizz. Wish we had more time to visit... More
