We went on the Short North tour and had a great time! Booking tickets was easy/online. Our host was professional and informative. I have a gluten allergy and it was easily accommodated which was a pleasant surprise. We visited 7 places, most of which were new to me after living in Cbus for 6 years!! The only downside was we... Today, I went to the Short North Columbus Food Adventures Tour. We began at the North Market and were able to sample a pretzel twist from Bretzel and clam chowders from the Fish Guys. Then, we continued our adventure to Knead for a yummy pancake with blueberries. From there we sampled chocolates at Le Chocoholique and a freshly made baguette... More

Bethia and Andy will take you to places which you didn't know existed. With extensive and fastidious research, they showed up a part of the city and its diverse cuisines which we had never experienced. And, it was delicious! We asked a million questions, and they had great answers to those, and even more knowledge of the overall food scene... More

I took the Short North walking tour with my husband, dad and stepmom. What a great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday! Our guide, Debra, gave a lot of information about each location and various sites along the way. She was very friendly and informative. We had 14 total tour-goers which is a full group but still... Very thankful for the exposure to new cuisines and family owned/operated restaurants. The tour was well thought out and thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys food wants to find places off the beaten path. Amazing what you don't know is under your nose in your own city!

Wonderful experience on the Alt Food Tour! Fantastic authentic dishes that highlight quality choices in each of the ethnicities. A common theme in each of the restaurants selected was freshness, quality, and attention to detail by the restaurant owners. Learning about these cultures and dishes was very entertaining. I would definately recommend this tour. We hope to take another tour... More

My husband, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and I took the Short North tour last weekend on a cold but sunny Sat. We had a wide variety of generous foods to sample ranging from a pretzel stick from Brezel pretzels at the North Market to risotto at Rigsby's. What a delicious adventure. Along the walking tour our guide stopped and gave us historical... More

The Alt Eats Ethnic Food Tour was a birthday treat I'd specifically requested (because my husband doesn't always latch onto subtle hints), and he's DELIGHTED that I did. We live in Central Ohio, but this tour introduced us to restaurants we'd never noticed and cuisines we'd never sampled. Our van-load of 12 participants plus guide Bethia and her partner (and... More
