We have been on two now, Short North last year and German Village this month. Both were superb. Our group of 14 walked with a great guide to five or so restaurants that each gave us a little sampeling of their food. While we walked the few miles on the tour the guide pointed out all sorts of places of... More

We were given this tour as a Christmas present from our daughter. Although we are familiar with German Village and visit often, we had never been to many of the restaurants visited on this tour. Julie, our guide, was excellent and knowledgeable regarding the history of German Village and the establishments we visited. Six restaurants were included, however we also... More

Visiting from Boston and went on the Short North Tour which was excellent! I've been on other tours and this one had lots of places to eat, so I was never starving which has happened on other tours. Our guide, Deborah, was fantastic! Learned so many interesting things about Columbus and even our friend from the area who came with... More

I am ashamed to say that as someone who has lived their whole life in Northeast Ohio, I have never been to the historic German Village area of Columbus, so when my sister-in-law suggested we come down for the German Village food tour I happily replied "Yes!" The charming and lovingly restored German Village makes for a beautiful walk. Our... More

The Taco Truck Tour of the establishments along Sullivant Ave on the westside of Columbus with co-owner 'Andy' was simply put: educational, fun, gastronomicaly tasty and sooo filling! I have a whole new perspective AND appreciation for these entreprenurial delights that I tend to zip by on my way to some of the familiar fast-food-chain drive-thrus I am so familiar... More

At last Friday's Alt Eats tour, we learned about about international food and tried some great restaurants (and foods!) that we never would have found/tried on our own. Andy shared alot of great information and gave recommendations on additional restaurants as well.

We did the Food Truck tour and it was amazing! Our guide, Andy was very knowledgeable and friendly and offered lots of great information, not only about the trucks themselves but the community they are in and the process of owning and maintaining the trucks. Our first stop was to That Food Truck which served up a deliciously smokey brisket... More

This was a gift for my husband's birthday from our children. We opted for the Short North food tour and did the tour on a Friday afternoon. There were only 4 of us plus our guide. We learned fun facts about the North Market and all about the Short North area (some of which I knew as well as many... More

My three sisters and I did the German Village tour recently and had a wonderful time. You not only get to try some delicious food but you get a history of the area. I would recommend this tour to others.

I have completed both the German Village Food Tour and the Short North Food Tour, and loved them both. Bethia was our tour guide both times, and she is just fantastic. Originally from the UK, she somehow knows literally everything about Columbus! We walked along as she stopped periodically to tell our group facts and tidbits about the restaurants we... More
