Enjoyed learning about and eating at a fine line up of local ethnic restaurants. The restaurants chosen and food served were excellent. We visited a southern Indian, Nigerian, Vietnamese, and Somalian restaurant and also a Mexican bakery.

Nic Dekker was a terrific host taking us around in a van to 4 different restaurants for brunch. We had a great time he was very personable and informative, taking time to give detailed info about each place and meeting the owner/chefs at each place, highly recommended. They have other theme food tours we had done the Alt Eats one... More

Guide was fabulous. Places visited wonderful, some so far out that I had never seen them before. The Fox in the Snow was the best one for me. I am doubtful that most of us were very happy starting out the first stop with Bloody Marys. Most of the drinks were barely consumed. Would prefer water or coffee. The rest... More

Bob Thank you for your feedback. Water is available at all of the stops except for one, Buckeye Donuts, where it isn't practical given the space and timing. We're sorry that it was not made clear where it was available and we'll make sure to rectify that in future. We do find that a lot of our customers enjoy the... More

Flavorful food and a relaxed but well executed tour. Our guide Andy delivered a perfect mix of information on the dishes and history of the restaurants. Every member our four (adult, family) member party found at least one or two offerings that both pleased and surprised. Makes a great gift and will no doubt provide a special evening for anyone... This was an amazing "hidden gem" in Columbus. I've lived here all my life and sure I've eaten in Grandview before, but I learned a lot on this tour and had a great time with delicious food and nice people! Thank you, Damaris, for a lovely afternoon. I left full to the gills.

This was an awesome tour and well worth the money. The variety of food was perfect and I did not feel too full at any point. We were also walking through the short north which allowed us time to digest between each location. Not only we were taste testing, but Dion, our tour guide, also gave us some history of... More

Had a GREAT time on the Alt Eats Tour! Plenty of food, awesome tour guide, and a good value. Tried foods and visited restaurants we would have never tried on our own. Did not disappoint! Highly recommend.

My wife and I don't get out much as parents of a toddler, so when we do we must decide whether to try new restaurants or visit old favorites. The Columbus Food Adventures Alt-Eats tour was something that we had wanted to do for a while. It informed us of the amazing ethnic restaurants that we pass by everyday without... More

We went on the Alt Eats tour and it was wonderful. We hit 5 stops and it provided plenty of food. Andy was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about food in Cbus. The restaurants were either places we wanted to try but hadn't made it to yet or otherwise would never have discovered. They also did a... More

The Dessert Tour was amazing! We learned many interesting facts about the five fabulous establishments that graciously welcomed us in, filling us with their delicious baked goods! I cannot speak highly enough of our tour guide, Jim, who was kind, knowledgeable and witty. He made sure our experience was truly unforgettable! This tour is highly recommended from our group. -...
