This park is lovely. It is busy and close to a lot of activity, but it has a serene atmosphere. The trails are wonderful. There are lakes, playgrounds, and lots of wild life to experience. It is a lot of fun, relaxing and refreshing. This park is really a gem in this community.

I will admit that Sharon woods is not my favorite of the Franklin County Metro Parks, but it is an enjoyable park to visit. The fall color of course if beautiful. I recommend walking along the lake, or the Spring Creek trail.

This urban park will almost make you forget you are in the city. There is a 3 mile multi-use trail that is very quiet (except one section long the highway). I made it here every night after dinner during a week long business trip.

Sharon Woods has walking, biking and running trails. It has several picnic shelters and playgrounds. One of the highlights is the fishing pond for children. They will even provide fishing polls if you do not have them. It is an all around park with sledding and ice skating in the Winter. It is a wonderful park in the Metropolitan Park... More

Great park to take a walk or have a cookout with the family. Walk or ride a bike on the trail and possibly see a few deer.

I felt safe there. It's nice to be able to walk and talk with friends and get a good workout! If you love the outdoors then there is plenty to see.

If you are out for a good walk, I recommend the walking trail at Sharon Woods. It is 4 miles of beautiful woods and streams.

We are so fortunate to live in a place with multiple metro parks! Each has its own special areas. We like to check on the website for classes, events. We love the tram ride which moves from one park to another, so you have to watch the schedule to see where it will be. We have learned about birds and... More

Some challenging trails as well as more relaxed trails for walks - lots of picnicking and even a place to fish.
