This wonderful Metro Park is an excellent location for a great family day out. Take a picnic with you and enjoy this jewel in the Westerville crown. There are lots of trails to explore with plenty of wild life, bubbling brooks, and spectacular tree canopies. Occasionally an officious metro park ranger would come by in the old days but refreshingly... More

We stayed near this park and decided to go and check it out. They have tons of trails which were very nice. There was a paved trail that ran along the outside of the park and then some inner trails that were gravel or grass. My only complaint would be that the grass trails were very muddy and difficult to... More

We were visiting from out of state and I read about this park which was around the corner from our hotel. My sister and I walked the 3.8 mile paved path each morning. There were a good bit of people out walking or riding bikes and everyone seemed friendly. We also saw a variety of birds, including a blue bird,... More

We went to the Park for Prom Pictures since the prom was just down the road at Villa Milano. Got some great shots with all the flowering trees, green trees and the lake behind them.

It would be nice to have at least one dog trail available. I typically don't go for walks through the park unless I can bring the dogs so I don't have any reason to visit Sharon Woods. Also, the two times I was there the trails were really crowded. I'm a fast walker and I found myself in quite a... More

Very nice park. Seems safe, and pleasant to walk the trails. I liked the easy trail which was maintained and kept nice. Convenient to I270.

Sharon Woods has several easy trails as do all of the Metro Parks. Very pleasant venue for walking or jogging.

Close to Columbus, a good place to get away from every day hustle. Many trails, variety of terrain. This park is included in the Commit to be Fit hikes and the Metro Winter Hikes.

I used to live near this park and I went there often. There is a 3.8 mile paved loop trail around the park that you can walk/bike/run on. There is also an unpaved trail that takes you into tahe woods to commune with nature. I have seen many birders there. They have a lake where you can fish, as well... More
