We visited this in may for a concert. This was built in the 1927. It's very well maintained and there is pictures downstairs by the restrooms with some of the people that performed there over the years. The detail of the inside is really amazing. There is a parking garage right behind the building that will give you easy access.... More

Very nice venue for live theater. Saw Mama Mia in March 2015. The sound was great as were the seats. The theater is easy to get in and out of, and there is plenty of parking close to the theater.

It was designed by Thomas W. Lamb and was built in 1926 as a part of the American Insurance Union Citadel complex historical theater...it's breath taking...panoramic view of the stage and comfortable seats. Need some renovation but you will enjoy atmosphere!

Excellent venue for a concert, the sound system is great. Seating wonderful...Close but just enough room. Also, great for plays.

Pulled into the Palace 4/24/15 for the John Prine/Leo Kottke concert. I went for Leo (who was, as always, excellent) and ended up staying for John. I am now a devout Prine fan as well. The Palace is a beautifully restored old theatre in down town Columbus. It’s absolutely gorgeous! I was on the middle aisle on the main floor... More

Beautiful, intimate. If you like to be closer to the stage this is the theater for you. Convenient parking. There is not much around by way of restaurants.

Saw Mama Mia with friends recently and it was an enjoyable evening. The Palace Theater is still one of the best locations to see a play, concert or musical. The acoustics are wonderful and honestly amplification isn't needed. The staff was friendly and helpful as always. Mama Mia was enjoyable, not a big ABBA fan but I was surprised with... More

We have attended many events at the Palace Theater and found it to be a great location. The smaller size of the theater provides a more up close and personal experience.

We have been to many beautiful and not so beautiful theaters but this place gets the prize for Most Uncomfortable... First off we are not large people, I'm 5'5" and 150lbs, my seat was squeezing my backside and my knees were just barely touching the back of the seat in front of me, I had flats on by the way....
