The inside of this theater is incredible and blows my mind every time I make my way there. The history and detail on the walls all around you are breathtaking. I've always enjoyed my experience there.

Nice and Cozy. However, the view from the balcony is compromised by placement of spotlights on ugly metal beams.

Talk about a beautiful theatre that has been maintained to all of its glory. My family and I went to see the Phantom of the Opera. Having seen this musical at the Pantages Theatre in Toronto which was completely remodeled around the musical, I did not set my expectations too high. I could not have been more surprised with the... The theater is beautiful. It was built in 1928 and has beautiful woodwork, ceiling paintings, chandeliers, and magnificent colors. Acoustics are fabulous. I have been to several productions (Phantom of the Opera - 3 times, Young Frankenstein, Wicked) there and have never been disappointed.

I had the pleasure of attending a performance of Phantom of the Opera at the Ohio State Theater in Columbus, Ohio. The performance was excellent, and the theater was stunning. We brought a group of students from the Detroit area in Michigan. It was worth the drive. This is definitely a venue I'll return to. Parking is difficult in Columbus.... More

I am so glad that someone had the desire to restore and save this old theatre. It is worth attending, just to see the theatre itself. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house!

I have been to the Ohio Theater many many times for different events. I will be going Sunday March 16 to see Phantom of the Opera with my husband. This is a truly BEAUTIFUL theater and it's great to go in the summer for the CAPA movie series and watch classic films in beauty and comfort on the big screen.

This is one of the few remaining fully restored classic theatres in the country. A must see in the city of Columbus. See a show, a summer movie or take a special tour – you will be awestruck. Entertainers who have come to the Ohio Theatre have been bowled over with how fantastic is looks, sounds and feels. A revival... More

We were here on Valentine's Day weekend to hear the Columbus Symphony Orchestra's "Romeo & Juliet" performance. It's a beautiful, historic theatre and we had a wonderful time. We were supposed to attend a concert at Nationwide Arena but didn't realize how steep that venue is (at least in the cheap seats!). I have a fear of heights and we... More
