We visited the Statehouse on a Tuesday morning. Tours are on the hour, starting at 10 AM. Parking is in the undeground garage. The tour guide was quite affable and knowledgeable. We learned about the history of the building as well as the architecture. No reservations were required for our group of 3. We toured the House and the Senate... More

I certainly did not appreciate the architecture and beauty of this building when I visited in 7th grade. There are free guided tours or you can check out a tour 'wand' at the gift shop where you type in code numbers at different points in the Statehouse. This was a great option, we missed the tour and honestly, prefer to... More

Ohio's statehouse is always open to visitors (during business hours and weekends). Lots of great history and amazing architecture. Fun interactive kiosks for kids in the basement area. More

The Ohio Statehouse is a beautiful building and it's recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation. Once inside you are awed by the marble, statuary, paintings and history staring you in the face. The lower level (the crypt) houses a small but very thorough museum, as well as a gift shop. More
