Stopped here with my family of six. Very interesting and interactive learning. My children (10-2) were all interested in one way or another. Beautiful architecture topped it off!

The Statehouse is always an education place to visit in Columbus with some interesting interactive exhibits for students in the lower level. Gift shop has interesting Ohio items. Fun for a rainy day with school age children and students

Stopped here while in Columbus. Like most Capitol buildings, it was stunning. Beautiful marble, architecture, rotunda, paintings, etc. Learned a little Ohio history while we were there and enjoyed wandering around. Security staff were very friendly and the volunteers at the information desk were also extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a quick stop if you're in the area.

I enjoyed my tour here, led by a well informed staffer. The building is beautiful and the stories about its history made for a nice morning.

Like many state Capitols this has some really nice architecture, a dome on the inside and rotunda on the outside. Many columns and an inlay of different types of stone that make up the counties on a state map on basement floor. Tours are very informative and make sure to lay on your back in the rotunda. The grounds have... More
