The recital hall where we attended a recital was gorgeous--lovely accoustics. The building is large, containing its own concert hall, recital hall(s), music store, multiple practice rooms. Most interesting walking through the the hallways listening to the students playing their various instsruments.

Visited here with Jim Brickman and some of his friends. Had an intimate concert and Q&A in the recital hall he took classes in which has since been updated. What sound and acoustics.

The Cleveland Institue of Music hosts regular free recitals by both students and faculty, many of whom are principle players in The Cleveland Orchestra. Anyone fortunate enough to discover themselves near CIM on the evening of a recital really owes themself the treat of this excellent music venue. The newest recital hall is absolutely lovely with a clear window floor... More
