This is a terrific and well maintained park. We went on a Sunday, and walked around, and rented kayaks from 41 North. We chatted with a ranger, and enjoyed the space. This is a nice, local place to bring friends, launch your boat, or have a picnic.

I have been everywhere throughout the metroparks, a total peaceful serene environment. I always feel safe and happy while taking a walk, a bike ride, hiking or even just sitting by the water for a beautiful view! I would recommend this for everyone, no matter who you are - you will be happy for going. The reservation is always kept... More

Metroparks has it all; golf, picnicing, bike riding, hiking, horse back riding; all around playing. Can't wait for Fall and the leaves to change.

The Metroparks in Cleveland, also called "The Emerald Necklace", is a shining jewel for the city to take great pride in. Consisting of a number of "reservations" that circle the metropolitan area, "the park" offers beautiful natural preserves all easily accessible for the public to explore and enjoy. There is access to the rivers, lakefront, beaches, picnic areas with pavilions,... More

We are beyond fortunate to have this fabulous system of green spaces in our area. Having grown up outside of this area, I can tell you it's not common.

This is a very large park with miles of scenic trails to hike, walk, run, picnic, whatever. We even saw two people on horseback walking one of the main trails. Even the visitors center is nice and landscaped and huge. Inside they have lots of displays and information about the habitat and history of the park. There is a balcony... More

Driving through the Rocky River Reservation is a bit of peaceful relaxation in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. Lots of places to picnic and hike. A must do.

The Rocky River reservation has so much to offer, and it's so accessible to west siders. Just the chance to bike or walk the path, take a hike, have a picnic, or just sit by the river to watch it (and the wildlife) travel by. A great opportunity to take a couple of hours and 'get away from it all'... More

After taking the boring highways around town, my husband and I decided to take a more scenic route back to our hotel and we sure did enjoy the ride!! This is a beautiful escape to drive through. We rented a convertible and at sunset the weather was just perfect!!! We drove Valley Parkway from 480 to Barrett Rd. We stopped... More

Rocky River Reservation was something we happened to discover during a recent trip to the Cleveland area. It's a park set alongside a winding river with stone cliffs. A wade in this picturesque river is a perfect way or cool down on a hot summer's day!!! Check out the Nature Center and all of the beautiful hiking and biking trails.... More
