The park runs along the river and ends at the marina. It has a paved trail, bridle trail or some ruff trails too. There is a dog park in Lakewood by the marina also. The Nature center is also nice to take the kids through and hike around there.

I recommend walking the bridal trails. Less traffic and beautiful scenery and wildlife. Plenty of picnic areas and places to fish.
I'm astonished at what Cleveland has to offer. There are several beautiful places to visit in Cleveland and the "ocean" is right here! Haha! (Yes, I know it's really Lake Erie!) There's also no shortage of Starbucks here. As a matter of fact, I'm heading out for a very berry hibiscus cooler right now. :)
Cleveland metroparks system really and truly is one of the most beautiful sights in the US. spring, fall, even in winter these parks look stunning, they're my favorite muse for all my photography, so much wildlife, right in our backyards :o)

Love walking the trails in the metroparks. It is a beautiful gem for Cleveland. Other cities really do not have anything to compare. We also like how well maintained all the walking trails are.
Several very manageable walking trails for hiking, birding and critter spotting, especially early in the mornings. Have gotten up close and personal with deer and red foxes as well as the occasional coyote. They also have a terrific Nature Center with displays for the kids, photo exhibits and comfortable seating in front of large picture windows - and a lovely...

Today it was snow, rain, mud, slop; and yet tha is to be expected in Cleveland March. What is magical is that shortly the Rocky River Reservation, along with Mother Nature's help is going to blossom and transform itself into lush green pathways, fertile byways, and an everchanging venue for all of us to enjoy. Sping is coming.
I've been coming to this park my entire life, and I absolutely love it. From the Solar System walk to the horseback riding, to the decorative fountain that has served as a kiddie pool for as long as I can remember, this park is great. Just walking in it is a great experience. There are wonderful hiking paths and fishing...

The Rocky River Reservation is a beautiful swath of nature surrounded by bustling cities & suburbs, but you would never know it when you're down in the valley (other than occasional planes going to & fro out of Hopkins Airport). There is an abundance of tree & wildflower species, scenic river views & tall shale cliffs. The Nature Center is...
