We live close enough to walk to North Chagrin Reservation. We love the trails. Some are paved and easy, and some are more challenging. The duck pond always has wildlife to watch. The marsh has excellent birdwatching. Buttermilk Falls is lovely year round. The nature center is small but good for kids, and it has restrooms and water fountains, which... More

I walk here everyday on my lunch. I don't think I've taken the same course twice. If you're not into getting your shoes dirty you have plenty of paved trails. However, if you're up to taking a side trail you may just find that hidden waterfall or pond.

packed my new northface backpack with two smart water bottles that I got at truenorth gas station which by the way has a really clean bathroom. So I set out on the tail behind end the castle an set out on the trail left to the main trail back behind the castle. The trails are medium to hard for anyone... More

I go here to hike a few times a year. There are a lot of trails with varying difficulty levels and lengths. If you want to do a longer hike, plan your hike ahead of time - you'll need to hook into more than one trail. Have fun!

I was just at Squire's Castle and at the museum by the Duck Pond in the North Chagrin Reservation, with my son and 3 year-old grandson. My son had recently broken his ankle and was walking with a cane, but sites we visited were easily accessable giving us a wonderful taste of Spring!

North Chagrin Reservation is part of the Cuyahoga County Emerald Ring of parks and reservations. Great hiking trails, woodlands and don't forget to stop at Squire's Castle. This is a great place to have Wedding Photos taken as many do.

We love this park. The Nature Center is a great place to start and end your visit. Bathrooms, water fountains, a roaring fireplace. Lots of animals inside. Also a small store where you can get snacks and souvenirs. Lots of maps and several trails varying in length and terrain from the flat, smooth, paved "multi-purpose" trail to wider bridal trails... Lots of animals. So relaxing with all the trails. The nature center is a must see and also requires castle. Lots of picnic areas. Buttermilk falls is pretty. Best in fall with all the leaves changing.

I ride my horse here a lot in the summer. The trails are wonderful. The scenery is awesome. Perfect for a place to enjoy the outdoors. Bring your picnic and go see the Squires Castle on River Rd in Willoughby Hills. It is special.

Like to hike the many trails. Buckeye trail through there is scenic. My favorite is a short walk to a shelter where you can hand feed the birds. You can sit in the Visitor Center & watch the waterfowl on the ponds just outside the window.
