Cleveland Play House, recipient of the 2015 Regional Theatre Tony Award and founded in 1915, is America's first professional regional theatre. Throughout its rich history, CPH has remained dedicated to its mission to inspire, stimulate and entertain diverse audiences in Northeast Ohio by producing plays and theatre education programs of the highest professional standards. CPH has produced more than 100 world and/or American premieres, and over its long history more than 12 million people have attended over 1,600 productions. The Cleveland playhouse offers many Christmas events at the various theaters. The feastival of trees and decorations is always beautiful to see. I highly recommend A Christmas Carol, this is by far their best holiday production.

Recently saw Joel Grey's one-man show. The entire complex is wonderful. Production quality, light sound, etc, all well done.

There is so much history here at the play House theatre no matter what seat or theatre you go to inside the play house it's wonderful

This is the second year of being a season ticket holder. Not sure why it took so long. The theatre district is a great place to be Shows are great and so much fun. Well worth the visit whether go to all th echoes or just one.

Step back in time to the luxury and beauty of "the good ol' days" You will love the experience and the discovery of all the surrounding restaurants and venues. Great shows......

Probably one of my all-time favorite theaters in Cleveland. The city does know how to do theater - all the way around. And even mediocre plays are good here - that's how fun the venue is ...

My wife and I seen Flanagan's wake for our anniversary and it was a really good time. The show was very well done and the actors were very funny.

This is a marvelous theater in the old school. Glorious interior design. It's something that you can drive by and have no clue how beautiful it is inside. We seen many productions over the years. Never disappoints.

Old historic theaters are beautiful, but people are no longer 5'2" and 90 lbs., although the seating reflects it. Most guests had their knees against the seats in front of them and were crammed into the seats. One of our party did have that issue, spoke with a supervisor who re-seated her.
