Severance Hall is a joy to visit whether or not the orchestra is in town. The lobby is delightful, the acoustics great. It's a real gem

My husband and I buy a quarter series to the Cleveland Orchestra each year which means we go to around 6 concerts a year. The Cleveland Orchestra is rated as one of the best orchestras in the world and Severance Hall is beautiful with wonderful acoustics. We are lucky to be able to enjoy the incredible music at this wonderful... More

I'm a huge fan of Art Deco, and had no idea how blown away I would be seeing how perfect the interior of severance hall was. Nothing has been changed since it opened in 1930. Seats, doors, elevators, even bathroom fixtures! I could have spent the entire show just walking around and looking at all the small details. Even the... More

Conductor Franz Welser-Möst brings a new flavor to classic favorites. We especially enjoy his conducting of Beethoven masterpieces. Our recent visit was to hear the Bach Mass in B Minor. The solo vocalists were outstanding.

Still, there... More

Once in a lifetime to see Lang Lang in person. Expensive. Received help locating seats. Preferred parking was wonderful. Seats were very close together, so if you are next to larger person it is quite uncomfortable. Will not return, but glad I went to see Lang Lang.

Going to Severance Hall always feels like a special night. You can get lost in looking at the beauty of the place itself. Let alone being able to enjoy the talent of the Cleveland Orchestra.
