I don't think you can find a better orchestra or venue to hear great music being played by the best musicians in the world. If you have a chance to see the orchestra at Severance Hall - do it. Take your kids. Take your spouse. Just go.

We loved everything. On short notice, we were able to attend an unforgettable concert on Thurs. Feb. 21 at Severance Hall. Legendary conductor, Herbert Blomsted, age 85, conducted the Cleveland Symphony. They played classic pieces, Mozart's Symphony #40 in GMinor and Dvorak's New World Symphony #9 in Eminor. The mesmerized audience gave the orchestra and conductor several standing ovations, and... More

Truly a treat to visit - an architectural delight. Just stunning. And how lucky are Clevelanders to have such a superb orchestra. Based on a packed concert hall - an opinion shared by many. Also - the orchestra's outreach to a younger audience (college age) makes going to a concert fun!

There are not enough superlatives to describe Severance Hall. Grand on the outside and even grander inside, it is a treat to experience any performance at Severance. The sound system is unbelievable and should you sit on the orchestra level, it's nice to walk down to the stage and look around during intermission. The ushers are great and very helpful... More

Beautiful music in a beautiful setting! It is an asset to Northeast Ohio to have such a renown orchestra in our backyard.

another architectural delight. Of course it was built when people were shorter on average, being tall wasn't easy, not much leg room, but a gorgeous building, and the orchestra....the best!

Not only is the Cleveland Orchestra one of the finest in the USA, but Severance Hall, in which they play, is a beautiful jewel box. Just sitting in that elegant space is a transformative experience.

A long time Cleveland Orchestra fan. Amazing space and sound. Did volunteer work to help raise money for the 2000 renovation. Can sincerely say that all the donors should be proud of every dollar they gave. Have been to family concerts since they are much more affordable and fun for all. Have been to family concerts every season, seen csardas... More

What a wonderful evening to be able to experience Severance Hall, Joshua Bell, and The Cleveland Orchestra all at once and only forty five minutes from home. The grandeur of the marbled halls and the restored architectural details are breath taking. With the ease of the parking deck, we were able to stroll at leisure and enjoy the gift shop... More
