Just being in Severance Hall, was a thrill, the building and grounds are beautiful. If you can not attend a concert, the architecture and the gardens are a great place to take a stroll. Of course, the Cleveland Orchestra is fantastic.

First off, we did not see the orchestra. We walked to Severance Hall from the Art Museum in mid-afternoon. While not particularly impressive from the outside, inside is truly splendid. The Hall was constructed in the early 1930's and is beautifully ornate. Be sure to visit the hall when you are in Cleveland.

Severance hall itself is amazing! Add the fine music of the Cleveland Orchestra and the experience is worth every penny. If you visit you should arrive 30 minutes early because parking gets crazy. There are snacks in the lobby with a small drink menu. I got the turkey wrap and a ginger ale. We wanted to eat at the restaurant... More
