Beautiful music heard in a beautiful hall !!! The best just keep getting better ! I would go hear every concert if I lived in Cleveland. The tour of the hall is very in depth. Gives a better understanding of how and why the hall was built.

I go to Severance Hall about once a year. And each time I go it takes about 30 seconds of listening to the most fabulous Cleveland Orchestra that I remember how close to perfect their music is in the entire world. Severance Hall was built to capture the sound from every instrument and Welser-Most knows how to make sure that... More

Still one of the best anywhere! This results in having been able to maintain the high tradition of excellence in conductors dating back to the late great George Szell.

The Cleveland Orchestra and Severance Hall are, quite simply, in the very top of the top tier of classical music experiences. If you are in or near Cleveland, it should be a priority. The orchestra is superlative. I've visited many of the great concert halls in the US and Europe, and Severance is more beautiful than any except perhaps the... More
