The Cleveland Orchestra never fails to impress. The yearly program is varied, and there is always something that I am interested in hearing. Excellent soloists often perform with the Orchestra, as well.

This concert was led by Michiko Uchida. All-mozart program. Really wonderful. The setting, of course, is incredible, this octagonal jewel box created to honor Mrs. Severance by her husband, with architectural details copied from her wedding dress.

First just stop and take in all the sight of the building. It is beautiful. The colors the lights the shape. The staff was beyond helpful to our seats and the music was truly mesmerizing. Make sure you tilt your head up and stare at the ceiling. Its worth it.

I have lived in Cleveland most of my life and Severance Hall is my absolute favorite place in the city. It's an architectural masterpiece and the Cleveland Orchestra is the best in the world. We were recently in London to hear the symphony at Royal Festival Hall and actually felt like we were in sub-par environment compared to what we... More

I highly recommend that you go to see the Cleveland Orchestra or anything else at Severance. Severance Hall is the most beautiful concert hall ever. There is also a restaurant that I highly recommend. I have had the amazing opportunity to sing with the orchestra many times. They are so kind, and they are super talented. The orchestra is one... The Orchestra is outstanding, of world renown. Every performance is an exhilarating experience. Everyone should have the opportunity to at least experience the music here at least once in their lifetime.

The Cleveland Orchestra is world-renowned for a reason - the talent is absolutely fantastic between the conductor and musicians alike. Plus, Severance Hall is gorgeous. They also give great discount student tickets ($10). Even if you're not a classical music fan, the Cleveland Orchestra will turn you into one for the duration of the concert. I highly recommend seeing it... More

A few years back I went to Severance Hall to see the Cleveland Orchestra's rare performance of Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite and I was hooked. The full orchestra of at least 80 members with 9 double bassists and the full choir conducted by Franz Welser-Most, took my breath away. Since then, I've been to many other outstanding performances including Beethoven's... More

We bought tickets for the annual holiday concert and had a great time. The crowd was eager for more. Clever singalong moments, fantastic quality music, great environment for listening. (And I usually prefer dance performances!) I strongly recommend going sometime to help support this wonderful orchestra.
