My husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary by listening to the Cleveland POPS Orchestra and vocalist Steve Lippia perform Centennial Sinatra. Steve Lippia sang 18 Frank Sinatra songs. If you closed your eyes, you'd think Frank himself was singing. We always enjoy our evenings listening to the Cleveland POPS. What a blessing they are to have in our... More

Always a wonderful experience at Severence Hall. Whether you go for an evening concert, Friday summer concert or a Sunday afternoon, he experience is pleasing and enjoyable. Welter Most is our wonderful resident conductor who does not disappoint. The concert hall often welcomes guest conductors like Ling and wonderful organ, piano and horn soloists. Today, we enhanced Sunday concert with... More

The Cleveland Orchestra is ranked among the best in the world. Spending an evening snuggled in one of their velvet chairs, surrounded by Art Deco, and listening to Beethoven, Brahms, Bach, Liszt, Tchaikovsky, Schubert, or Haydn is a delight. Go early and have time to appreciate the ornate lobby, take a selfie, and look for the 'key' hidden in the... More

After attending a performance of the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall, I will forever associate classical music with this experience as the gold standard. Put the Cleveland Orchestra at the top of your list when visiting Cleveland.

Heard the orchestra play Pictures at an Exhibition. Absolutely the best performance I have ever heard. Every musician is incredibly talented. The audience applauded for 10 solid minutes. The building is worth a trip in and of itself. The entire building is beautiful. Excellent example of classical and art deco.

Make sure that you visit historic Severance Hall, home of The Cleveland Orchestra. The building is so beautiful, the music is out of this world! They have one of the most wonderful gift shops as well that sells much more than just music. You can find items that are unique and never anything that a chain store would carry. Loads... More

The last show I saw was when the San Franciso Symphony was in town. I absolutely loved it and I love that the Cleveland Orchestra has such a diverse selection of guest symphonies and musicians all throughout the year. Great performance, severance hall is simply majestic in its history and architecture and I am taken back in time every time... More

Severance Hall is an art deco masterpiece with fabulous acoustics. The Cleveland Symphony is always excellent. I don't think the Cleveland Orchestra is quite as great as it was ~ 20 years ago but it's still a truly world class orchestra. And, Severance Hall is as good as it gets. It's well worth the trip and the cost for a... More

The theatre is small, intimate yet that make every seat a great seat!! The theatre itself is beautiful to see and the music was wonderful.
