We had tried for MANY years to catch a game at Jacob's Field after it first opened and tickets were never available - fast forward to Progressive Field and the 2009 season and it's a different story!! The attendance was abysmal and the stands were the emptiest we've ever seen, anywhere. The field seemed to us to be in disrepair... more

Progressive Field is one of the best ballparks in baseball. The people of Cleveland love it despite the fact they are generally very negative about most things in their city. The views are nice, almost all of the seats are really good, and it maintains the largest scoreboard of any park. There is nothing too special as far as cuisine... more

Whenever I think of Cleveland, this is the first place that comes to mind. I grew up watching games here, and wouldn't trade our park for the world. The games are good, the food is good, and the people are always welcoming. more

We took in a game (Indians vs. As) in Cleveland in during our 10-day Baseball Roadtrip. The staduim is beautiful, for sure and it was about half full that day. Maybe the contrast with Pittsburgh made this game seem a little lackluster. We arrived early for batting practice and got a signature from opposing team player. Looked for food options,... more

Our previous experiences with major leage baseball were limited to attending Toronto Blue Jays games. We've long wanted to go to a game in an American city where baseball has a bigger following than at home in Ontario. Cleveland did not disappoint. Progressive Field (the new name for Jacobs Field) is an excellent facility. I believe the reported attendance the... more

If you take the excitement of Fenway, the food from Camden, and the hospitality and amenities of Cinci/Atlanta then you come up with Jacob's Field (now known as Progressive Field). There are great views at all angles, and you are closer to the action than at any other park. Your kids can also join the High Acheivers Club for free... more

This is near the top of the list for stadiums I have seen. A group of us went to see the Sox beat the Indians in the playoffs in October and the park looked great. Very nice views from everywhere and the monument area was great to check out. more

I recently saw two games at Jacobs Field as this was the next stadium I wanted to see. It reminded me much of Camden Yards in Baltimore, the first of the new wave of stadiums built in the early 1990's. The stadium has very good seating, good views throughout the stadium and a beautiful scoreboard. My only thing was I... more
