Nice, but small aquarium. We've been to a lot of aquariums around the country and this one is in the mix. All exhibits are nice. Good local selection of fish and turtles. Allow about 1 hour, like I said, it's small. Price of admission is on par with other aquariums around the country. Note: if you are using GPS navigation... More

We paid our first visit to the Cleveland aquarium and were pleasantly surprised in light of some of the reviews. If you have small kids who love animals, I think it would be a fantastic place to visit and it is just the right size for a relaxed visit. We are big aquarium and fish people and were very impressed... More

Thanks very much for your review! I'll be sure to share your kind words with our marine biologist team. We love all of our guests, but particularly our youngest guests who can see so many of the exhibits without being held by their parents. Really appreciate your feedback. More

It was not very large, several of the tanks did not even tell you what was in them nor show pictures of the fish and other marine life. Not a place I will go back to if ever in Cleveland again.

Sorry to hear your visit did not meet your expectations. All of our exhibits have labels but because of the cylindrical shape, the labels are on the walls next to the exhibits instead of on the exhibits. If you have trouble finding them, our Guest Experience Associate team members throughout the Aquarium are happy to answer questions for you. More

We took our time, read the informational boards, studied the fish and were done in less than an hour. Don't plan on spending the day at the aquarium, there isn't enough to fill even an hour. There were some interesting species to see and it was well organized and clean but I would not spend the money again – it... More

Sorry to hear that your visit didn't meet your expectations. We do offer animal encounters, dive shows, feed shows and the chance to feed the stingrays throughout the day. I hope you didn't miss the information on all of those additional activities when you visited! More

When planning a weekend in Cleveland recently, we were surprised to find out it had an aquarium. We were a little hesitant after reading some reviews about it, but we are definitely glad that we went. It is a very nicely themed and decorated aquarium in a very cool old building near the Cleveland Flats area. The displays were nice,... More

Thanks for your comments! We love having so many exhibits that are accessible to our toddler guests. We always say we love discovering nose and finger prints on the acrylic because that means someone was so excited that they just had to get closer. More

My 8 year old niece was visiting from out of town, so I went on line to see what there was to do. After reading a lot of the reviews for the aquarium, we almost did I something else. But we decided to give it a shot.... And I am so glad we did!!! Some of the points are valid....it... More

When this first opened, was not impressed. Thought it was a lot of money to take our grandkids to for what you saw. But it is getting better & better. After visiting the Brooklyn Aquarium this month, we have a wonderful aquarium. Although it always feels dark in these places, I guess that is the norm. There is a lot... More

This was a nice experience. The tanks are not just simply built into the walls. You can walk around some of the tanks. The tunnel with sharks swimming over your head was great! We got to pet giant turtles and stingray. It was a fun day.

We love our setting in the Powerhouse built in 1892, because it lets us get creative with the way we display our exhibits, including the cylinders you can walk around. Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit! More

It was too cold to go sledding, so we took our 7 year old granddaughter to the Aquarium. She loved it! The staff was very friendly, and patient with all her questions. There were special activities also that were coordinated with the exhibits. Hoping to return again.
