We walked about the Circle between visits to the museums in the area. There is some public art work (standard), a lovely little amphitheatre-ish space (not in use that day), a visitor's kiosk (not open that day), a gate into the Botantical Garden (locked that day), plenty of trash and recycling bins, and a few benches scattered about.

There is always something in this popular (with the locals) area. From the Italian experience of Little Italy to the Wednesday night concerts in Wade Oval--named Wade Oval Wednesday, aka WOW--you will not be sorry you visited this area and be sorry you didn't have more time to spend.

Well landscaped area that is home to (newly remodeled and expanded) Cleveland Art Museum, Cleveland Orchestra, Case Western Reserve University, botanical garden, nature center, old car museum, modern art museum. Picturesque views of Wade Oval, flower trees and art museum. A little reminiscent of Schonbrun Palace in Vienna. Can, however. be a little unsafe for those walking late at night.

University Circle is a beautiful, clean, and spacious cultural haven. On virtually every corner there is a musuem or historic site, and not a single rundown building or area is visible to blemish the terrain. Having grown up in the Northeast, I am used to cities: Philadelphia, New York, and Boston in particular. And I love all of these cities,... More

Has always been a beautiful area of Cleveland: Home to Severance Hall, the Art Museum, the V.A., the Health Museum, the school of art & music & the world famous Cleveland clinic - worth a couple of days to see everything in this lovely area.

Lovely Severance Hall, home of the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra, is only the icing on the cake of this culture-saturated area. Across from it is a beautiful lagoon that serves as the fronticepiece to the Cleveland Art Museum, an extraordinary collection of art and sculpture that stands alone as one of the finest and would make the trip worthwhile in and... University Circle is the best place in Cleveland to spend a day or a whole weekend. There is so much to see and do. The fabulous Cleveland Museum of Art has FREE admission all the time. It is one of the only art museums in the country to not charge a fee to get in. The exhibits are first-rate and... More

It is a great collection of the Art museum (free admission), one of the world's best art museums, the Natural History Museum and the Botanical museum and Cleveland institute of Art, Cinematheque (Classic, can't see elsewhere films). When you are done, ask how to get to Little Italy across Euclid avenue to get some great authentic Italian cuisine. Mange!
