I took my grandchildren to the museum and we were a little disappointed. There are always great ads on television and we were expecting something different. The kids are six and eight and we headed for the space exhibit. We were disappointed that many of the hands on activities didn't work. The children quickly wanted to move on. There wasn't anyone in... More

This is the classic hands-on approach to teaching science through fun exhibits. Kids are bound to find something interesting (and learn something new) on the multiple floors here. This is a 100% must for families with kids! TIP: Convenient parking structure nearby also gives easy access to other sites in the area (i.e. the Mather, Rock & Roll Hall of... More

My wife and I visited the Great Lakes Science Center in last December with some friends. We have three children and they have three children. We have been to several other museums and science centers over the years, but have never been here. I can safely say that we won't be going back. I'm not sure what these other reviewers... More

We really like to go here. The kids like the hands on activities. The bubble station is one of their favorites. I really can't compare it to any other science centers because I haven't been to any others but my kids like it. They really enjoy the IMAX theather too. I would say this is best for kids ages 6-12.... More

After being disappointed at the hall of fame - we foound this a great place - we also did the movie and most of the floors - the kids had a great time. Lunch was terrible - they must find a different company to run the local fast food area and have healthy food served to the kids.

This is a very nice place to visit, located on the shores of Lake Erie. Plan to stay for several hours, as there are many exhibits to peruse, some being a hands-on experience. The children will gain valuable knowledge that they will carry forward throughout their school experience. A must see while in Cleveland.
