Many zoos have closed their elephant exhibits, but you can still see them here at Elephant Crossing. My special interest is big cats. The collection here includes lions, cheetahs, and a snow leopard--I missed the tigers, which were in a different part of the zoo. One of the red pandas was very active, so often it seems to be nap... I've been to this zoo five times over the last 10 years and it just gets better every time! I'd have to say the Australian Adventure is my favourite part and we spent the entire afternoon there this last time. The kids love the Yagga Tree as well as the Wallaby Walkabout, the Reinberger Homestead, Gum Leaf Hideout and Kookaburra... More

We looove the Cleveland Zoo! We are regular and have the membership and it pays off! I can seriously take the kids to the zoo once a week and never get bored. It's pretty big so each time we go we visit different areas and the kids never complain or get bored. The rainforest is great also on a rainy... More

My wife and I get season passes to this Zoo every year. We go to take a walk around, be outside, and watch the animals. Is it the best Zoo ever? No but it's pretty good, great for walking, and inexpensive.

I am pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean the Zoo was when I went with my family this past weekend. The staff they have along the way were very helpful and informative. The price of the food was doable and I love how they offered free water by the restaurants up front. While we were there the animals were... More

The Cleveland Zoo is a really good family-friendly experience and can be a lot of fun! We've been there while on family vacations several times, and each time we enjoyed it just as much as trips to the National Zoo in Washington DC and the San Diego Zoo. But we set out to have fun, not to be critical.

One of the best, and biggest, zoos that I've been to. The rainforest is cool, and the Elephant Crossing is my favorite group of pachyderms ever :)

Nice Zoo but at a lot of the exhibits I didn't see any of the animals featured. Could use more kid stations. Park did have a lot of picnic and seating areas.

Let's be realistic: this zoo is much too large to see in one day if you have children. It's a lot of walking, a lot of sights, sounds, and education. If the weather is warm, everyone will fade after a few hours. So be prepared to give up halfway around the park and do the rest on another day, rather... More

Nice park that's is well maintained but spacious. Zoo exhibits are spread out but nicely organized. Animals seemed well cared for and active. Don't miss the rainforest on the other side of the ticket plaza opposite of the zoo entrance. Other animals and exhibits to see house inside rainforest. Plan to do some walking with hilly terrain, take advantage of... More
