This renovated theater is a classic. It is a gem in downtown Canton. It has the stars in the ceiling, and the organ the rises from the floor with an organist playing it before the movies shown there. The small concession stand is operated by volunteers and provides reasonable prices compared to the new movie theaters. My complaint is by... More

Sonny_tmcf, thanks for your input. Our live events and movie are staffed largely with volunteers. If there are specific areas that you believe need improvement in order to increase our patron satisfaction, please let us know so we can put some extra emphasis on those things during our volunteer training sessions. We hope to see you at the theatre soon! More

We happened to be on vacation in Cleveland during the annual "Battle of the (high school) Bands" and bought tickets online to watch the event live. The event was fun but not as good as I had hoped for; the sound was not well-balanced most of the evening. The best band was from Kent State University, which makes sense because... More

Cynthia F, we hope that if/when you are in the area again you'll be able to see a movie or event sponsored by the theatre. We host many live acts and special movie showings each year. Thanks for stopping by! More

It is so nice that people work to preserve this gem in downtown Canton. I love to see movies here. The restoration is nice. The ceiling is always especially beautiful.

This theatre has movies and also live performances of different types. Inside there is a concession stand that is run by volunteers. In the theatre itself it has a ceiling that gives the effect of looking at the starry night sky. It is very unique. They also have an orchestra pit that rises up out of the lower area. It... More

Stale popcorn. but does little to help its self The pretty reckless cincert was 1 hour late to start & the staff did not come out to tell the long line of hot sweating concert goers when it would start no... I always enjoy attending events in this theater. So glad it was saved and not torn down like many theaters of this age. Saw a Jim Brinkman concert here on New Year's Eve.

From the marquee to the original 1926 Kilgen pipe organ, it's a wonderful restored theatre in downtown Canton. Whether you're seeing a movie, concert or play, there isn't a bad seat in the house. The clouds and stars which grace the ceiling are a must see. So comfortable, yet there is so much character in the antique fixtures and grand... More

This is my most favorite place in Canton. I love it. It's a beautiful old theatre with a lot of history. The organ is original and fantastic. There are stars on the ceiling. A must see.
