If you have the opportunity to visit the Cambridge Glass Museum, GO. It is a little piece of history on glass-making, and the colors they have on display are simply amazing. Allow about an hour to really see everything, and don't be shy about asking questions. The volunteer staff really knows what they are talking about here. We had a... More

We had a total surprise and education from our visit. I am now a collector of the "nude" stem glasses. We visited in early March, cold outside and no one around. The museum was prepping for a busy collectors convention and had special Friday hours of operation. We were the first patrons of the day and received the VIP tour,... More

I knew about Ohio's glass history, and had heard of Cambridge glass. Yet I never anticipated the impact of so much beautiful Cambridge in one place! Truly, this museum is a labor of love for so many volunteers whose city's history is inextricable from the history of the glass. The film is rather slow-going, but as you tour the collection... More

If you're into vintage glassware, this is the place for you to visit!!! Beautiful Cambridge glassware, the history behind each design is just amazing! ! If you have small kids and they get bored during the tour, the museum has a special area for kids to do rubbing from some of the etching plates, so mom or dad can enjoy... More

I grew up in the glass cutting industry. Consequently I had never taken the time to see the museum. Like many things the museum was a story of a great bygone ear when qualify and beauty were part of dinner. The volunteer staff was wonderful helping at every moment, givng us tours and answering questions.

A full display of glass from their day one to present...A wonderful history tour of their product... We left a few $$$ to their pleasure...We did Internet searches looking for Cambridge glass as we looked at it.

The Museum is now decorated for the Holiday Season and are hosting bus tours. As has always been the case, all of the glass is beautifully displayed.

We are completing a list of places to see, as our daughter will soon graduate from nearby Muskingum University. This was a valuable learning experience, with an original video showing the actual workers from the days the factory was open / existed. The arrangement of the glass pieces is accompanied by a pamphlet with descriptions and facts. We liked to... More

We thought we were going to see a couple of pieces of pretty glassware. Boy, we were wrong! We found a history of the area and the town of Cambridge. Our tour started with a video from the 40's about how the glassware was produced. Then we had a personal tour of the small museum, with the beautiful glass arranged... More

The staff was very friendly, courteous and informed. We were very impressed with the staff, the facility and the knowledge the staff imparted. A real jewel in a small Ohio town! If you love glass, it was terrific!! My husband is indifferent about glass and not really excited about going. However, he was very impressed and it brought back a... More
