Lovely place

I have visited Salt fork park a few times for conferences. Looks exceptionally lovely in fall. I get to do trail hiking and enjoying scenery while attending a conference.

A four seasons park with something for everyone. Fishing holes are everywhere, lots of boating possibilities, golf, beaches, hunting, snowmobile, bridle trails. During week days the crowds are thin and a forest experience with isolation and quietness is very possible. Historical stone house is open on most weekends. Also, Check out the auto tour for the heritage sites. A map... More

The cabins were clean and spacious. Great for a family of 4+. We went in the Spring and there were only a few cabins occupied, so it felt very secluded/isolated. Loved our stay!

This was not a good time of the year for visiting a park. The weather was cold and dreary--but I'm sure it would be very nice in the springtime with warm weather and some sunshine,

The lodge is absolutely beautiful overlooking a lake and swimming pool. Many things to do. The cabins are very nice and clean. Lots of things for a family or a couple to do right on the property of the park.

I live 5 minutes from Salt Fork State Park. Beautiful area, close to Cambridge, we will go to The Lodge for dinner and sometimes sunday lunch. They have a great outdoor pool and we will order a pizza (they have great pizza). Love to walk the trails and of course they have Bald Eagles in the area as well. Horse... More

Ohio's largest state park, to say there's something for everyone is no stretch. Salt Fork is one of the few state parks with an onsite lodge, and it's a great one, with excellent guest rooms, banquet facilities and dining options. As for the park, itself, the large lake is conducive to boating and fishing, and there's plenty of great hiking... More

Our family loves to visit Salt Fork. There is a marina, beach, lodge, and lots of wildlife. We have visited in all of the 4 seasons. Winter is nice for sled riding, fall is great for hikes through the changing leaves, summer has great fishing and spring has lots of new growth. This state park is always clean and beautiful....
