We just left the Lodge it is way overpriced. The food there is terrible and way overpriced. There is no where really close to eat unless you drive into town maybe 25 min. The rooms are basic and old. The pool area is great people put their towels out early and camp out so its hard to find a chair... More

I did not spend the night here but was here for one day for a conference. The staff and service people were real friendly and cooperative. I took a few minutes to tour the facility and it seems like a nice place to take a vacation or a weekend vacation. Indoor and outdoor pool, golf course, horse back riding, huge... More

The entrance is about 6 miles from the interstate so watch for signs (left). The state park is large. The camping is divided into many areas. Reservations can be made on-line. Rangers station sells misc. items you may have forgot to bring with you and ICE CREAM. The water station is hard to find when you first get there. It... More

Great camping park and big. The restrooms need updated but it's camping. A bad day camping is better than a good day at work. Lots to do. The lodge has a great pool and its heated. Activities for kids. Great fishing...... Just wish people would pick up after their pets. I own dogs and just makes you irritated when you... More

Salt Fork is the largest state park in Ohio. The lodge is nice but is showing a little age and wear, but nothing that should stop a visit. We ordered a pizza from the dining room and for 2 people, it was huge. Well worth the price. All the staff seemed ready to assist with any issues that came up.... More

We stayed two nights in a pet friendly hillside cabin. Cabins are very rustic with wood paneling, nice screened in porch. Two bunk beds in one room and full size bed in other bedroom. Tableware is for six people. My only complaint is lack of counter space in the bathroom, an additional shelf or credenza would be helpful. Attached is... More
