This was our first camping trip. The park is very nice. We really enjoyed ourselves. We plan a trip back in the very near future!!

We visited this beautiful Ohio State Park for one day. We canoed on Salt Fork Lake, in the part where no motorized boats were allowed. We were lucky and had a sunny, warm, calm day after a lot of stormy rainy weather. We had the entire lake to ourselves! We saw lots of water birds, deer and turkey. It was... More

Park was very well maintained. We utilized the marina, tackle shops, lodge, and picnic areas during a long weekend of boating and fishing. All was very pleasant.

Went there for a family birthday and even though the weather was bad we loved the park and the ranger program for our kids

This was our first time to Salt Fork. We have a small pop up camper, and we were meeting family who had a tent and a boat. When we got there we set up our pop up on the grass (in the rain) and the boat was on the concrete. A little while later a guy came by on a... More

I arrived late, after check In time and room was not ready or should I say clean. I asked for a roll in shower room not given until I ask for another room. Room was semi clean but needed more cleaning in bathroom. I was not given instructions on getting around The lodge in a wheelchair, a map would have... More

The best part of our stay was the low key atmosphere. After dark the campground, with its well spaced hookups, had the pleasant cozy air of summertime with its campfires and colorful lights. It rained part of the time, which limited our outdoor activities. Even in the rain, careful observation was rewarded when I spotted a barred owl. It was... More

It rained a lot during the weekend we were here so our outdoor experiences were limited. The boat dock lost power so we could not rent a boat. There are plenty of places to fish. We appreciated that the kids could fish without worry of needing a license. There is a golf course which appeared hilly but pretty views. The... More

I came out to Salt Fork State Park with my son to check it out for future family vacations. We booked a room at the lodge but I also checked the campgrounds and cabin area. There is a place for every kind of person wanting an escape from RV camping, a resort lodge, cabins on the lake and a primitive... More
