My wife and I stayed at Salt Fork in the camp grounds this last week, and we had a blast! The weather was great and our stay was just awesome! It is only a two hour drive from our house, so the small road trip made it even better. The camp ground was nice. We stayed at site F8 which... More

The campground was pretty standard. The bathrooms and shower houses were decent. Toilet paper was kept stocked. There are a ton of trails for hiking. The two trails that I did were not very challenging but still very enjoyable. I did the Stone House loop and the Hosak's Cave loop and both were very pretty. I would stay again for... More

Clean and clearly marked trails with ample parking at each trail head. Beautiful landscape and scenery and awesome berries of the lake. Stone house is very cool.

I have always loved Salt Fork and have been there many times in the past camping, staying in a cabin and just a day of boating and visiting the beach. Great fishing there! I haven't been there in a while and decided to stop by for a picnic and swim after a day at The Wilds. The grounds are still... More

Really needed a break. Although the facility is dated it is clean for most part. Very family oriented. Outdoor poolsr You very nice at lodge. Indoor pool, fair. Food pricy $50/2 but good. Best part was sitting on balcony on lakeside watching yearling deer every evening. Beautiful blessing!

Cabin # 5 was pretty gross at check in. Dog fur all over the rugs throughout. Our dog wont even lay down on it. Wearing our shoes in the cabin. Hoping we don't get fleas. Not sure if they really cleaned here.

We visited this beautiful Ohio State Park for one day. We canoed on Salt Fork Lake, in the part where no motorized boats were allowed. We were lucky and had a sunny, warm, calm day after a lot of stormy rainy weather. We had the entire lake to ourselves! We saw lots of water birds, deer and turkey. It was... More
