I recommend coming here for small friend gatherings...get the sampler and enjoy it on the patio. It's the perfect place to go with gal pals you havn't seen in years...we talked til they closed, didn't feel rushed at all.

Arrived with the place to ourselves. Nice view but the wines were only mediocre and the prepackaged cheese and veggies were pretty lame. Several varieties to try and good flight with 12 or more tastes. Just not any that stood out as a great choice. Would be nice on a good afternoon to watch the pond and sip wine.

We have been here several times with different people, and have always had a good time. I have been here with a motorcycle group, and with family to watch fireworks. The food is very good. You can get cheese and crackers inside, or there are food vendors outside selling various sandwiches, chips etc. I am not a wine drinker, but... More

We visited during a sunny day on August 8, 2015 2:30 p.m. Very pleasant, clam, and peaceful! Most people dressed casually, but clean and neat. Beautiful tasting room w/ gift shop. We sat outside under an umbrella on a round metal table that had 6 metal chairs. A large party of 30 sat comfortable nearby. Private room inside available for... More

Traveling to Youngstown to visit with friends my wife and I decided to visit a winery. We're so happy we found Mastropietro Winery. Having visited many wineries in our travels this one rates very highly when even compared to the California wineries of the Napa and Sonoma valley regions. It's very well done and the samplings are unique. A placemat... More

To put things in perspective, we have visited wineries from Northern California to Niagra on the Lake, Canada. We love Gervasi in Canton and while some of the other wineries in NEO may not be California level, we enjoy what they have to offer. This is the most miserable excuse for a "winery" that we have ever experienced. No ambiance,... More

We go to all the winerys on our trips. This one was so friendly I can tell you we have new friends. We sat on the deck with the owner and some locals and had a great time. The wine is one of the we have had in Ohio. Will be back for sure if in the area. This is... More

The setting, near a large pond in a rural area, is very pretty. There is a very large patio area with outdoor seating on picnic tables, also more seating on metal chairs and tables. There was a large pavilion, and a gazebo-no shortage of outdoor seating. There were also 8 firepits in the picnic area which made for a very... More

A little out of the way, but well worth it. Good selection, good tastings, helpful staff. If you go on a summer weekend, it's great. Have good variety of entertainment, good food catered by area restauranteurs and really good, reasonably priced wine. Please give it a try.

We stopped in on the way to dinner reservations elsewhere. My wife did a tasting and liked it enough to buy several bottles. The server couldn't have been nicer and I was happy to find a place that sold Whiskey Stix pretzels. If we're in the area again, we'd definitely stop here and enjoy the fire on the patio.
