This resort is where i learned to ski back in the early 70s. MRM has gone thru so many improvements and is now #1 of the ski resorts in Ohio. Has man made snow due to weather conditions in Ohio, but is always kept groomed. Terrain park is very well maintained. Lost the original dining and kitchen building to a... More

The staff was so nice, friendly & helpful! All manufactured snow but, they kept good maintenance.:) I snowboard and the terrain park was very well groomed & re-groomed while I was there. This was the 1st time I've been to MRM & only about 6/20 runs were open, which is understandable since the weather hasn't been ideal. ☆☆☆☆☆ would be... More

Me and my husband went last winter. It was a cold, windy day, but they have an outside fire burning and a building with snack bar and restrooms to warm up in. The people working were very helpful and assisted in every phase from conveyor up the hill to the push off going down the hill. Lots of fun for... More

We love the snow tubing area, they are open early, and stay open late too... The Mountain is the place to be to ski... as well.

Mad River Mountain is the best winter tubing place to go. I highly recommend taking the whole family there. Even my 10 year old daughter who has Down Syndrome had a blast. I am 55 and had as much fun as my kids, if not more! It is a great experience.

They do the best with the vert they have. Terrain park is the best I've seen outside of a real mountain.

We loved our ski club trips to Mad River. Amy was very helpful with this being our first year. The staff was very helpful with the ski lessons. Everything was much better than we had anticipated! I already have kids asking me about next year.

This is my second season up north. Last year was my first season on the snow. I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old. I have been going to Mad River since the '13-'14 season. I have a RFID (direct to lift) season pass. I go at least once per week and sometimes 2-3 times depending on... More

If you want a ski place close to where you live in Ohio this is the best place to go. Lift lines are very short unless you hit a snowy/sunny Saturday, but still, they are not outrageous. Be aware, it is definitely NOT a mountain, it is a hill, you cannot get fatigued going down the runs b/c they are... More

Stay away on week nights when all the school kids are there. Many of the kids are out of control and unsupervised.
