This place has been around since the 60's still good after all these years. The people here have a heart of gold, they take injured wild animals nurse then back to good health, release the ones that will survive in the wild the others become residences of the nature center.

Fun place for all ages of kids and adults. No cost for admission. See local animals - such as deer, rabbits, fox, and birds outside. Inside have several interesting display of snakes, various fish, and turtles.

I've been here a number of times with our grandkids. They love it. Lots to see. Plenty of exhibits you/they can interact with (a tree trunk they can crawl through, a bee hive you get to see from the inside out, live animals, etc.

This is one of the best kept secrets of Bay Village. Not only do they have an interactive setup, but this is also a rehabilitation sight. You can see a red fox, Owls, Hawks and even a bald eagle along with other animals. It is beautiful indoors and outdoors. I have been coming here since my children were young, which... More

The lake Erie Nature and Science Center is a beautiful place to take your children and enjoy the animals, aquariums and plants. They also have classes for children to get to know the animals and learn how to deal with them. They also have an observatory.

While babysitting for our pre-school granddaughter, this became one of our favorite places to visit. The outside part of the Center has many rehabilitated animals to view and the water feature is lovely. In the inside part of the Center, there is a great play area themed to animals, as well as, many interesting fish, turtles, snakes to see. There... More

We took our grandson there - not expecting too much but were pleasantly surprised. There are some nice displays and unique experiences: like petting/feeling the turtles, being close up with the animals or listening to the bees as they work in the hive. Even crawling through the hollowed tree in the entrance way was a cool thing to do for... More

Super family destination. The younger the children, the better. They offer both indoor and outdoor attractions and, if the weather cooperates, I highly recommend a nice, easy hike. There is SO MUCH TO SEE on the trails attached to the center. Remember, you are a short drive or decent walk from Huntington Beach when here, so plan ahead and leave... More

Great little museum dealing with local wildlife and even an area for locally rescued critters. Free museum is very kid friendly and located right across the street from Huntington Beach. Open year round too.

We brought our 11 and 8 year olds to the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center. We spent about three hours there, including a show in the planetarium. All the exhibits were interesting and informative. This is a free outing except for a small fee for the planetarium.
