We visited Coriole winery on a recommendation, and were not disappointed. The setting was beautiful, the staff helpful and friendly, the wines lovely and the platter just amazing. An amazing was to spend an afternoon. Well worth a visit.

The Estate vineyards are made up of predominantly Shiraz, planted as early as 1919. There are a variety of different vines planted at Coriole with about 65% Shiraz, 10% Sangiovese, 5% Chenin and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Other varieties are Fiano, Grenache, Barbera, Montepulciano, Merlot and Semillon. There are in total 25 different vineyards from 90 years old to 3 years... More

I recently visited Coriole with some friends. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable about the wine. We bought some cheese, crackers and olives from the cellar door and sat outside on the patio with a bottle of vine. It is a really nice setting and worth going to, even if just for a tasting.

We have just been there as part of a vintage wine tasting day, the service was very slow - we resorted to serving ourselves! And the when we did taste them, all bar one were tipped straight into the bucket! I have never had a worse waste of $10.

Velvet was very knowledgable and friendly. Well worth a visit. Loved the Mourvèdre and Sangiovese and thanks for the cheese. The vinegar was also worth a try. Velvet also gave us some good tips on where else to go which was great with so many wineries to choose from.

This was the best cellar door that we visited in the McLaren Vale. The host was very knowledgeable about the wines and the history of the vineyard too. She was the most friendly to us, who are not big wine tasters and a bit shy when it comes to striking conversation up about wines. The wines are very good, a... More

On a nice sunny day, Coriole is one of the nicest wineries/cellar doors to sit outdoors with a glass of wine and a cheese plate. Cellar door/tasting room is small and tends to get very crowded.

We visited Coriole winery for lunch in March 2013. Having been before we thought we would take our parents from the UK who were out here on holiday. Only booking in the morning our hosts were very accommodating and sat us in the shade on a hot 40 degree day. Once again we enjoyed the platters and a lovely cold... More

In the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region this winery produces an amazing range.Their enterprising and inventive wine making will surprise and charm the open-minded. There's a great restaurant, a lovingly tended garden and a cellar door with friendly and knowledgable staff. Not to be missed. Superb olives complement the experience.

Worthwhile visiting this winery with views of the valley. The wine and olives collection was great and the host was an ex wine judge so we received some tips on appreciating good wine with good humour
