Being a tourist in your own backyard is an interesting experience. This trip is to be recommended to both locals and international visitors. It would be particularly enjoyed by bird and photographic enthusiasts. A convenient way to access a special natural area. Comfortable boat and enjoyable lunch. Small group is an advantage.

With Captain Daniel at the helm, the half-day excursion to the River Murray Mouth and the Coorong aboard the "Spirit of the Coorong" from Goolwa in South australia is a "must." Highly recommended by Peter S of Adelaide.

We went on the 6 hour cruise which took us beyond the River Murray mouth. The commentary was very informative & we visited Aboriginal midden sites as well as the cockle beach. Highly recommended.

All day boat cruise of the Coorong, including beautiful picnic lunch on board. Passed the mouth of the Murray, locks and dredges necessary to control freshwater flow out to sea..

We went on the two hour cruise from Goolwa wharf, on a perfect day of around 28deg and enjoyed it very much. The crew were friendly, helpful and happy to answer questions along with an excellent commentary. Spent a great six hours on this Coorong cruise. Very friendly, helpful and most of all knowledgable crew. Nice lunch included alongwith afternoon tea. Beware of mosquitoes on first walk. Second walk really enjoyable. Birdlife in abundance and also a few fur seals at the barrage.Need to be reasonably fit for the walks!

We went on the 6 hour cruise, though there are shorter ones. Very good experience, Skipper Bain and first mate Dan very helpful and informative, opportunity to walk through the Coorong Dunes, which was itself an experience - need to be a little bit fit though. Great lunch on board, simple but well presented and plenty big enough

We had a great time! First time we had ever gone through a lock. Very interesting seeing the dredging at the mouth of the Murray River and where the freshwater of the Murray River meets the saltwater of the Southern Ocean; you can actually see the difference in the water where they meet.
