On our trip to Kuranda we stumbled across the Kuranda Candy Kitchen. We didn't manage to see the candy being made but we bought a couple of bags of candy thinking that it would last us a while.... a couple of days later and it's almost all gone. We made a special trip back to buy more before we left... More

We watched in rapt attention for the next 50 minutes or so (children aged 7 and 10). The staff were very... More

Very clean and lovely people that owned it. Very vibrant shop and a good variety of candy to buy. You can watch them literally making this candy! Very hard work!

We stopped at Kuranda Candy Kitchen while we were up in Kuranda. The candy maker had been making custom-order hard candies and happily showed us what he had done. We also sampled several flavours of the hard candy - it was so delicious that we came away with several bags of the fruit flavoured and cola flavoured candy. An excellent... More

Colorful store front where you can pose as the chief candy cook with their wooden "put your face here" facade. They happily offered samples of their homemade hand crafted candies. Lots of variety to choose from.

We were given samples of the candy immediately after walking in and explained what ingredients and how the candy was made. Bought a bag of candy to take home.
