So we paid our $18 AUS and 35 minutes later... should have been 45 - we were back. And sadly that just about sums it up. I am personally surprised at the number of positive reviews. We fed a few fish and saw a couple of turtles, but the crocs did not show and there were no birds.... the chap... More

Thank you for your comments. Would you please let me know what day you travelled on the riverboat? We do not guarantee that you will see crocodiles or any other wildlife for that matter, as it is impossible to know this in advance and we state this on our website and brochures. Crocodiles may spend more time under water when... More

Having travelled to Kuranda on the train and had a walk around the village we decided to go on the river trip before our trip down on Skyrail. It was the perfect way to spend some time. We did not see much in the way of wildlife but the trip was very informative. The boat we caught got us back... More

40min will fly by in this very relaxing boat ride in Kuranda. Spotted one of the resident crocs getting some tan. The ride was so relaxing that I was getting sleepy. One to do if you want to get up close and personal with the locals (crocs, fish, etc). Mind you, it was just a very short trip along the... More

This cruise was so cheap, only $18 each, and it was very enjoyable. The guide was informative and friendly and the view was amazing. I would certainly recommend it.

It was hot, it was humid, so we decided to go o the river. Best $38 we've ever spent. Seriously, if you get the chance, go and visit the Captain, Dijay, and his boat and the flcok of birds that nest in the life-preservers in the roof of the boat. It's a relaxing and informative - dare I say educational?... More

Lovely river cruise giving you another view of the local rainforest. Guide was great, pointing out anything of interest. On this particular trip we did not see any crocodiles which I would assume would disappoint some travellers.

Everything about this tour was fantastic. The key words for me are peace and nature. Sitting on a boat with birds flying above my head, laughing at the tour guides jokes and seeing crocodile's and turtles. The crocs are a lot smaller than l expected but the zoom on my camera really brought them into focus. This was s magic... More

Kuranda riverboat trip costs $18 for and adult, $9 for children (5-15 yrs) and lasts approx 45 mins. Family tickets are available 2 adults & 2 children $45. To be honest, having got off the Kuranda train and with 4 hrs to kill before our time slot to descend on the sky train we didn’t really fancy walking around the... More
