Everything about this tour was fantastic. The key words for me are peace and nature. Sitting on a boat with birds flying above my head, laughing at the tour guides jokes and seeing crocodile's and turtles. The crocs are a lot smaller than l expected but the zoom on my camera really brought them into focus. This was s magic... More

Kuranda riverboat trip costs $18 for and adult, $9 for children (5-15 yrs) and lasts approx 45 mins. Family tickets are available 2 adults & 2 children $45. To be honest, having got off the Kuranda train and with 4 hrs to kill before our time slot to descend on the sky train we didn’t really fancy walking around the... More

My 8 year old son and I had a ride in the riverboat today. Christian the guide was extremely knowledgable and we learnt a lot from him. We spotted a crocodile!! Fed turtles and fish and spotted other rare bird life. Christian was very kind and helped my son steer the boat which was a highlight of the day for... More

A pleasant hour on the boat with just the two of us. Our guide had great information but also made the trip very relaxing. The scenery really is beautiful. I didn't give 5 stars because feeding bread to the fish and turtles is not a good environmental practice. If this is necessary there are healthier options , but it looked... More

The very friendly guide explained a lot about the rainforest, spotted a crocodile for us and even stopped so that we could feed fish. Highly recommend to take this tour when visiting Kuranda.

This riverboat trip was a lovely relaxed time away from the hustle and bustle of the shops and markets. A pleasant stroll down to the railway station and then on down to the river to the little jetty where the boat leaves and returns to. So glad we decided to do it, very informative and friendly atmosphere. Thanks for a... More

Nice quiet little river boat tour. Took it as we had no luck spotting fresh water crocs in the wild and saw three. Operator feeds fish and turtles bread (don't agree with this practice but its great for the kids).

This was a spur of the minute decision as we had some time to spare before the 3.30pm train - and boy are we glad we did! The guide was great - it was just the 2 of us on the boat and him. He was friendly and informative. While we didn't see a croc (it was pretty overcast and... More
