Excellent tour. started at the Tyapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. There were movies, didgeridoo demonstrations etc. Enjoyed lunch bunch with famous Tjapukai Dance troupe. After lunch proceeded t the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. It was a 9 kilometer with stops if you wish along the Rainforest. Cable ride stops at Kuranda Village. There you can walk, enjoy shops, food etc. Then we... More

We rented a car and drove to Kuranda so that we were free to do what we wanted to do instead of taking the train or cable car. On the way we stopped at few places to look at the breathtaking views of the mountain ranges and sea ! Visited the 'Rainforestation Park' where you get to see the tropical... More

We had 4 adults and two children and made the trip up to Kuranda. The experience was made even more enjoyable by excellent staff who ensured we received 1st class service and were looked after in a manner second to none. We had one of our party (me) with a mobility issue plus two youngsters. The staff-on several occasions ensured... More

It was an amazing experience to feed and pet the marsupials, the koalas, etc. The Kuranda National Park also has a amazing waterfalls and a rain-forest trail which is a must-go.

The train trip up to this quaint little town is a lot of fun, and very scenic. The town itself is great to walk around, and there are a few good walking trails that will take you into the forest. The Sky Tram down from Kuranda was fantastic. I only wish we had had more time at the stops along... More

If you are looking for something to do in Cairns North Queensland try the tourist train from Cairns station to Kuranda in the hills. Take the train up and the Skyrail back down as the best way to do it. Kuranda is a lovely village with lots of interesting shops and plenty of things to do. Don't miss the skyrail... More

Took the Skyrail up and the train back to Cairns. Kuranda is full of interesting shops and things to do for visitors on all budgets. Lots of eateries, galleries, knick knack shops, local crafts and things to see. Easy to while away a number of hours just mooching around. Where else in the world do you get to see 'Thongon... More

We rode the gondola atop the rainforest with stops to get off and walk around. Each stop had lovely views and wood walkways to stroll through the trees. The loading and unloading of the 4 person gondolas is efficient and easy. The signs are clear as to which way is up or down. The town of Kuranda is touristy but... More
