We saw the falls from the train and had an opportunity to get off the train to get a good view. What a beautiful area. Coming down on the sky rail gave another view of the falls.

Due to a dry summer and fall, there was not much water. However, the view is spectacular of the entire gorge.

We were fortunate to visit Barron Falls early March of this year and our timing could not have been more perfect. We hired a car this time rather than going on the Skytrain. The day was wet and so rather than sit in our hotel we headed up to the falls and what a sight it was. The water was... More

Although there wasn't a lot of water in the falls, we really enjoyed the walking track down and around the area.

Unfortunately we visited at the end of a very dry spell and the falls were down to just a thin trickle. It must be spectacular after some rain, but you cannot get anywhere near enough to appreciate it properly

easy access to lookout through the beautiful jungle. The way there is safe and easy, very enjoyable thanks to the path built in the air! (or almost)

It's not the wet season Sotheby's water level was low, but the rock formations and the lovely Boardwalk within the tree line is fantastic.its only a fairly short walk and worth while

The picture associated with this attraction is misleading. These are not Niagara Falls. Last week when we were there, there was 90% less water flowing. However it was a nice walk from Kuranda. We took the trans north bus from Cairns both ways and the cost for three was 30 AUD and not 300 AUD if we had done the... More

A small easy walk to get to the viewing platform of the falls and its an incredible view there. Such an awe inspiring place. Huge and majestic. Well worth seeing.
