We have been conducting tours on the Daintree River since 1987 and run a family operated, one hour river tour from a private jetty. Our boats are small and personalised for a quality experience and our tours focus on wildlife such as snakes and birds, with an emphasis on crocodile spotting. The tour includes commentary about the area and the mangrove ecosystem. We also provide good quality binoculars and complimentary hot and cold beverages.

Bruce greeted us for our tour but we weren't disappointed to have Ray and the two dogs as our skippers for the cruise. Ray was witty and very knowledgeable. He was able to find us crocs measuring from 2 metres to 5 metres (the famous Scar Face) in length as well as keeping us amused by his anecdotes. The complimentary... More

Bruce's knowledge of the area really makes this tour a worthwhile event. You are not only looking for crocs but getting some understanding of the local flora and fauna. As well, Bruce is a real character who has strong views on the management of the area. Overall, a really worthwhile experience.

Terrific cruise. Richard our guide was informative, interesting and very keen eyed. Our seven and ten year old daughters loved it.

This is worth doing if you have a few hours to kill . Takes about 50 min to drive up to Daintree Village area , easy to find Bruce's business. 24$ per person and about an hour on the river . Bruce explains about the Daintree system and find the crocodiles both large and small as you go . Knowledgeable... More

An excellent river cruise on the Daintree River to see crocs in their natural habitat. Ray, and trusty Jet, the ship captains dog, worked hard to find numerous crocs and the elusive python along the river. Well worth the trip - excellent value.

Loved, loved this excursion! Captain did a great job spotting 5 crocodiles! Lots of fun facts on crocs and the local birds and greenery. Nice having a beer and snacks on the afternoon ride. Binoculars are provided for everyone too! I'd go back again!

This river cruise could be the wisest decision you make on your holiday in Far North Queensland. Keep in mind this is not a zoo or a crocodile park so there is a gamble involved.....but if your cruise is lucky enough to see multiple crocs in the wild you'll feel guilty you've only paid $70 to $80 for a family... First cruise with Bruce himself, second a week later with Richard. Both fantastic guides, taught us lots of info about crocs, the area and other wildlife. Saw crocs, 2 types of snakes, plenty of birds including a frogmouth, and even got a cheeky pie on the lunchtime cruise! Would recommend to anyone.

This was a very pleasant and informative way to see the Daintree and it's eco-system. Bruce Belcher, the owner, was our guide for this cruise and his love and experience of the Daintree was clearly evident in his commentary. We saw several crocs (each with it's own story) and a range of wildlife. Complimentary coffee at the ends of the... More

You're probably wondering why I rated this attraction a 4 with a title that sounds like we didn't actually see the crocodiles...well that's exactly what it means. My family and I visited BB Daintree River Cruises in hopes to experience the trill of seeing crocodiles in their natural habitat, and we did see two fully grown crocs (one was asleep... More
