Enjoyed the fruit tasting tour. Some of the fruits were lovely, some not so (purely down to your own taste). But unless you really love these types of tours, at the end of the day its eating fruit! So if given choice and only have time for one activity in Cape Trib I'ld defo go for the ocean safari instead. more

We stayed at the Fruit Farm in the rainforest cottages, which are fabulous, but we also did the tasting during our stay. The fruit tasting is a great diversion from the usual tourist attractions to be found in most places, and we appreciated that b/c we've done a lot of travelling and have seen repeats of many different activities. The staff... more

Every day they have ten fruits on the menu, which they prepare and serve whilst explaining the fruit's background and interesting information,... more

Both times we had different fruits to try, keeping in mind that it depends on the seasons etc. Great presentation, plenty of facts, tour of the farm... more

A fun loving family runs this operation. They set you up in a neat and tidy cabin in the orchard where you overlook the Mt. Sorrow. Every morning you will experience a fruit basket with all the goodies they grow locally on the farm. Located in the middle of the Daintree forest, ideally close to the beach, Reef excursions, food... more
