Done the tour with Peter few days ago. Nice guy, he gives a little prep talk and display a lot of love for what he does, a lot of respect for the environment, and a great knowledge of the area. Once in the water he'll guide you through manoeuvring the kayak and enjoying it'd potential, if the weather is good... More

I booked onto a sunset paddle and would happily recommend these guys! All too easy from pick up, gear at the location to the actual tour itself. Oarsome (see what i did there) way to see the Cape from a different perspective. Knowledgeable local guide and suitable for novice paddlers. Light snack provided, wet bags available if you wanted to... More

Highly recommended! We booked the half day option having called the guys to talk abiut a possible snapper island trip. They were really informative and helped us make the right decision given the time we had, ability and the current weather conditions. Our trip on the day was fantastic seeing turtles as a highlight. Davage as the guide was excellent... More

The day we went out with Pete from Paddletrek, it was raining. Who would have thought that kayaking in the rain could be such a wonderful experience. With the Daintree in the background, clouds rolling across the rain forest and a lonely eagle flying above us, we couldn't have asked for a better time to be paddling. It was peaceful,... More

Thanks Paddletrek for the great time out on the water. By a stroke of luck I was the only kayaker booked in for the morning trip and despite a strong wind warning and decent swell, Davage made me feel confident that I was in safe hands. In the face of rain and wild winds we were able to get around... More

There was the satisfaction of actually kayaking 8 km in the ocean, rather than passively sitting in another tourist bus!; there was the mesmerising beauty of pristine uninhabited Snapper Island and the time to explore without a crowd ; there were the turtles and sting rays and butterflies, and beaches full of coral, shells and driftwood; there was Pete's reassuring... It was raining/cloudy the day we went kayaking, so no real sunset for us (it did clear up just as our paddle started, so still good weather!), but still a really nice paddle! It was nice and chilled, plenty of time to just sit in your kayak and enjoy the exquisite surroundings. Got delicious chocolate cake and cordial, and some... More

Had a great time paddling in one of the most beautiful places in the world with Paddletrek. Definitely a highlight of our trip! The wind has kind of strong from the SE, which made for relaxing paddling on the Northern side while we check out some turtles, but also gave us a challenge to get around the headland. Challenge on... More

First and foremost, our kayak guide was brilliant. His name escapes me but he was an ex-builder whose knowledge of the Daintree and surrounding areas was impeccable. I learnt so much, and he went far beyond what I expected from a morning of kayaking. Secondly, the kayaking itself is brilliant. The waves were choppy and we even got to 'surf'... More

On the 3rd of July 2015 we travelled from Port Douglas to Cape Tribulation where we had booked a day out with Paddletrek. What a wonderful day my wife, late teen kids and myself had. The scenery of the where The Daintree meets the beach was picture perfect and the calm waters of the bay made for a perfect start... More
