We travelled to the Cape and visited the whole area......very exciting. We also toured around Port Douglas, which we found a very nice area. We stop along the way in the small towns to view their sites.
The North is an interesting place and should be promoted much more in your tourism brochure.

Such a vast array of creepy crawlies. Don't go if you can't stand spiders or beetles! (But they are dead and mounted in cases). Very chatty, friendly staff. Won't need more than an hour here.
