We arrived at 3:30pm on a Saturday and didn't really know what to expect. The atmosphere walking in the front door was nice and relaxing and the process was easy. We took the $40 deal for the pool and spa. Both were nice and heated at 35 degrees. The pool looked out to the bush where there were animals like... More

The ladies on reception were friendly and knew their product well. I wasn't a fan of the unisex change rooms that you walk straight into and while there are some seperate changing rooms with showers off to the side, it looked like you'd have to fight for one on a busy day. I paid for the sanctuary experience which guaranteed... More

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves after a busy few months. We paid for the Sanctuary experience which was $190 for both including Devonshire tea (that was an abysmally poor experience of its own!). The architecture was interesting but at times all the exposed concrete, lack of natural light in parts, and "under ground" feeling made me feel... More

I was in Hepburn Spring on a girly weekend with a couple of friends and decided to do the Sanctuary package while my friends went for a walk. I got there early in the day, which was great as I had the place completely to myself for the first 10 minutes or so and after that it was still not... More

We had the Tea & Sanctuary package. It would have been great if the tea was in a warm cafe attached to the centre but it was a short walk away. There was an open fire but the chairs were tin and rather cold on the bottom. Once into the sanctuary we had access to the spa pool, steam room,... More

We had booked a Bathhouse + Tea package ($90 for two on a Saturday) but bailed on it after the tea because it was so clearly not going to be value for money. Tea is in a pokey "shed" away from the fancy buildings you see on the website. The interior has sort-of been done up in a trendy fashion... More

The Bathhouse Sanctuary consists of 2 pools, one of which (flotation pool) has a sign suggesting a maximum of 4 people, the other of which has 4 spa couches (one person each), and comfortable room for 4 more people. The steam room is great, but never really usable for longer than a few minutes at a time. They do advertise... More

My wife is heavily pregnant and wanted to relax... We got relaxation massages, and then went for a soak in the sanctuary... It was all very nice. Perhaps a tad over priced. But I guess this is spa country.

We were 6 female mountainbikers who did the goldfieldtrack last week, 5-7th of July 2014 and treated ourselves to the Hepburn Bathhouse on the first day. WHAT A TREAT. We did the sunset session and it was the best treatment after being outdoors riding in the rain all day. We felt so good the next day so for anyone who... More

We spent a relaxing couple of hours at the bathhouse and sanctuary. Spa couches were a hit as was the salt pool. A great way to spend a lazy morning. You are given a robe to wear but next time I would take my own thongs (flip flops if you are British) as everyone is given a quick tour by... More

Dear Fran Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like you enjoyed a relaxing start to the day. Thank you for sharing your comments re: footwear as we certainly recommend bring your thongs with you as your are absolutely right about your feet becoming more sensitive as you bathe. The mineral water has an exfoliating effect due to the mineral... More
