A nice place when it's not full and the counter staff are smiling

A friend and I did a day trip for this very disappointing swim in what is essentially a public swimming pool. For the $80 it cost us we could have enjoyed a nice meal in town. The reception staff was very off-hand when I asked her what the options were..... seems there aren't any. $40 for an up to 2... More

Very disappointing experience . $40 for a swim in what is essentially a public pool with lots of chlorine and overcrowded people. Not natural springs at all. Would give 1 star but the scones at the nearby cafe were nice. Management really need to overhaul this place. Spend your money elsewhere.

Female staff member at the counter was fairly abrupt, which I didn't appreciate given I was spending $87 just to spend 2 hours at this place, and was expecting a polite and relaxing experience. The counter staff don't seem to care, and management probably don't either as there is no really proactive attempt at obtaining customer feedback. The bathhouse is... More

Very average experience. Luke warm pools. Crowded and tonnes of chlorine. Definately not worth the pricey charge. Spend your money elsewhere, this place is a fraud!

Having visited a few years back I was keen to go again but it started badly when I tried to book a package. I was promised a call back to organise my booking, but I never heard back. I admit I did think the prices had gone up considerably, but thought it's not every day you treat yourself. Due to... More

Firstly, I am glad that I can say that I've been but I definitely won't be spending the money to go back. I booked the Sanctuary for my husband and I as part of our anniversary weekend. We were given our towels/robe and shown the change rooms, then made our way into the Sanctuary. It was 11:30 on a Sunday... More

Just got back from my second visit to the Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa located in Hepburn Springs near Daylesford. Last time I went mid week which is a much better options. This time I went on a Saturday and paid the extra for the Sanctuary. It was so full of people you could not move or fit into the the... More

We visited Helburn Bathhouse mid week and were advised to purchase the sanctuary package which included access to the bathhouse (children allowed) and the sanctuary which was said to include spa couches, an aroma therapy room, salt pool, relaxation deck and 'monsoon showers'. I think the main issue is that the mineral springs are falsely advertised. The website depicts a... More

Nice massage which was relaxation although would have preferred a little deeper. Nearly feel asleep. Nice building and environment. A bit pricey.

Bathhouse was great. the massage wasn't - not only was I given a cheaper massage than I paid for but elements of the massage itself were lacking. Have been waiting three weeks for the refund I was told I would receive. It was explained to me that the paperwork hadn't been received yet from another area of the business. In... More
