Relaxing

Nice massage which was relaxation although would have preferred a little deeper. Nearly feel asleep. Nice building and environment. A bit pricey.

Having visited a few years back I was keen to go again but it started badly when I tried to book a package. I was promised a call back to organise my booking, but I never heard back. I admit I did think the prices had gone up considerably, but thought it's not every day you treat yourself. Due to... More

Firstly, I am glad that I can say that I've been but I definitely won't be spending the money to go back. I booked the Sanctuary for my husband and I as part of our anniversary weekend. We were given our towels/robe and shown the change rooms, then made our way into the Sanctuary. It was 11:30 on a Sunday... More

Just got back from my second visit to the Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa located in Hepburn Springs near Daylesford. Last time I went mid week which is a much better options. This time I went on a Saturday and paid the extra for the Sanctuary. It was so full of people you could not move or fit into the the... More

We visited Helburn Bathhouse mid week and were advised to purchase the sanctuary package which included access to the bathhouse (children allowed) and the sanctuary which was said to include spa couches, an aroma therapy room, salt pool, relaxation deck and 'monsoon showers'. I think the main issue is that the mineral springs are falsely advertised. The website depicts a... More

Bathhouse was great. the massage wasn't - not only was I given a cheaper massage than I paid for but elements of the massage itself were lacking. Have been waiting three weeks for the refund I was told I would receive. It was explained to me that the paperwork hadn't been received yet from another area of the business. In... More

The staff are seriously the highlight here. Not one person did we come across who wasn't so incredibly friendly and down to earth. We visited here for a massage and were not disappointed. Probably the more pricier of the day spas in the area but if it means your going to get service like this than pay the little extra.... More

We paid for 2 hours in the 'Sanctuary', we left after 40 minutes and that included changing time. The name is misleading to say the least, it isn't a sanctuary for these reasons: 1. The 'Sanctuary' is adjacent to the other bathing area where kids are allowed. It was far from peaceful with all the screaming. 2. There were way... More

My wife and I visited midweek later in the day (around 4pm) and paid for entry to the Sanctuary. We shared the complex with only 3 other couples, and toward the end of the stay had the place to ourselves. Whilst not as big as other spas, such as in Europe, it was still very nice and 2 hours passed... More

Strong chlorine smell doesn't make one feel one is being 'rejuvenated'. Very crowded which isn't very relaxing and also not overly clean. However the building is interesting and I'm glad I went there but won't go back.
