We made a decision to book a two hour session at the spa for the day after our visit to the area. We came back the next morning for a session in the Sanctuary. I was skeptical, but the four of us had a wonderful relaxing two hours. I would recommend a visit to anyone staying in the area. Recharge... More

Visited Hepburn back in 1983. Was a small area with a small pool and a couple of taps pouring out "mineral water". Now it is a huge tourist attraction. Not what we expected. Was a bit too pricey for what we got. An internal hot spa pool and a slightly cooler wading pool and not much else.

My partner and I were really excited for this. Does not represent value for money-would be cheaper to book treatments individually than to book the package. The "lunch" included in this package was awful, especially disappointing given the reputation the region has for fine food. The sanctuary is extremely busy and would benefit if staff did not over book the... More

If you are lucky & you get here early on a Friday morning you might find that you have the whole place to yourself. Sure it is ridiculously over priced at $92.00 for 3 people for 2 hours ( 2 of whom were children) but it was good fun. We enjoyed floating in star formation but 2 hours was quite... More

Having booked ourselves into 'The Sanctuary', at a cost of $85 for two hours, my friends and I had anticipated a couple of hours of serene relaxation. However, what we experienced was anything but! My heart sank when the staff member explained the changing rooms were unisex and that there was a shortage of lockers because they were so busy.... More

Been to the Bathhouse over recent years for various treatments and services and have always been happy. As I've always found the cost of treatments here to be reasonable in the past, I hadn't checked the current cost before approaching reception. To our absolute shock, we were quoted that a swim in the communal bathhouse for my 2 children (under... More

My visit to Hepburn Bathhouse was cut short due to a power outage. This wasn't through any fault of theirs, but I along with many others decided that since there was no power and the spa jets and steam room were not working, there was no point in staying. I had spent about 20 minutes in the pools (2 hours... More

If you like your spas luke warm, this is the place for you. If, like us, you prefer a hot and steamy bathing experience, look elsewhere. The public bathing was cold and tiresome after 10 minutes and the private area not much more impressive. The Salt pool and steam room made it passable but not at all worth the entrance... More

Pulling into the car park, I was impressed with the building, however it was one of the few impressive things I found. Greeted with the stench of chlorine, in what I thought was supposed to be "the health and wellbeing centre of Daylesford" was off putting to say the least, and the line that almost reached the door had me... My girlfriend and I were disappointed in the bath house. There are only two pools and both indoors, nothing like Peninsula Hot Springs. Customer service was excellent though and gave us a tour, however definitely wouldn't return as we felt like it was a waste of money and thought it was better to just use our hotel jacuzzi.
