I have been to many spa baths and I was really disappointed with Hepburn Bathhouse and spa. $87 for the Bathhouse and Sanctuary and really there is only 3 spa , steam room , normal bath and salt bath. We were told it was 50% chlorine 50 % natural spring sorry not for me , I smelt of chlorine .... More

Found the Bathhouse by chance and glad we did. We spent 2 hours there and spent time in the spas, steam room and salt pool. Once again we loved it. Our only complaint is at times it became overcrowded and not enough room to hop in the salt pool etc. The change rooms were also a bit grotty.

Recently visited with my wife and used the Bathhouse & Spa. Greeted by friendly staff and shown to the shared change rooms. The establishment is set up well and clean, also attending on a week day there was no need for booking even though we rang ahead and plenty of room in both the mineral pool and spa. We used... More

We booked the more expensive option (over $80pp) to be able to use the additional pools for 2 hours. When we arrived the 'exclusive' pools were absolutely packed with people - not relaxing at all. I also found the bathrooms, showers, changing area really dirty. For anyone coming from Melbourne for the day, I would recommend going to the Peninsula... More

Love love love the Hepburn Spa. Absolutely breathtaking. Peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. Good for the soul, mind and body. Staff are uber friendly and efficient and helpful. Fantastic facilities, clean and hygienic and very user friendly. Lots of different packages to suit every person. Will visit again and again

It was not the ideal start to our weekend getaway, our first trip to Hepburn Springs. Having read numerous reviews and recommendation before heading to this "famous" bathhouse, we were impressed at first sight by the glass frontage of the building, and excited as we walked through the front door, anticipating a glorious, relaxing experience ahead. That bubble was burst... More

We made a decision to book a two hour session at the spa for the day after our visit to the area. We came back the next morning for a session in the Sanctuary. I was skeptical, but the four of us had a wonderful relaxing two hours. I would recommend a visit to anyone staying in the area. Recharge... More

Visited Hepburn back in 1983. Was a small area with a small pool and a couple of taps pouring out "mineral water". Now it is a huge tourist attraction. Not what we expected. Was a bit too pricey for what we got. An internal hot spa pool and a slightly cooler wading pool and not much else.

My partner and I were really excited for this. Does not represent value for money-would be cheaper to book treatments individually than to book the package. The "lunch" included in this package was awful, especially disappointing given the reputation the region has for fine food. The sanctuary is extremely busy and would benefit if staff did not over book the... More
