These gardens are right next door to the Convent Gallery and Cafe. You can walk them , right up to the Water Tower for some nice views over Daylesford or you can drive up to the top and do it the easy and quickest way. Very nice spot to visit.

We drove through the gardens and then went for a bit of a stroll around. Gorgeous gardens and a lovely area on a wonderfully sunny day.

I found the gardens to be very pretty and tranquil. There is a loop road you can drive around the gardens, but this was closed for maintenance on the day we visited. We had a short stroll from the car park past the fern garden (which was also closed). The highlight was the greenhouse full of begonias, which was absolutely... More

Very disappointed.. I really wouldn't call it Botanical Gardens.. more dead and unkempt gardens. Really nothing pretty at all. The Café also closed earlier than the advertised 4pm.

We were hoping for a nice walk through the fern garden but this was blocked off and small. The view wasn't very inspiring either. Go and explore the lake and the town instead!

Fantastic pinetum at altitude. Hilly location can make access difficult but there are carparks; paths and a loop road so all can enjoy. Over 150 years old. Trees are magnificent but a little bit more attention could be given on keeping them healthy as the gardens are a true gem to be protected for the generations and that are loved... More

Great place to relax. Have to see the begonia house. The flowers were beautiful. Great view from the tower

There is a tower to climb, however the view long ago obscured by the wonderful trees in the park. We wandered a while then laid down on the soft grass and watched the birds fly limb to limb and enjoyed the peace and ambiance of this lovely park

It was nice there but there is limited table and chairs. They are not positioned well, one was near the toilets with no views. The view is lovely overlooking the countryside, seats would be nice scattered around so you could sit and have a picnic.

A lovely area to walk or drive around on a sealed road. Good views of the surrounding areas with many large trees and grassy areas. A great picnic place and some historical attractions on the summit. A very peaceful place.
