Shame if you don't have a dog or appreciate stepping in poo... Look out for the brown lumps... Itd be great if pop bags were in the dispensers... Having said that there are some great examples of old trees... I love monkey puzzles and other similar trees...

This is such a marvellous place to visit, whether to stroll, drink in the panoramic views of the beautiful, surrounding countryside, enjoy the tranquility, the remarkable elms and other magnificent trees. Yes, it's relatively small but what a gorgeous little gem!! Big is NOT always best. The Begonias when in bloom are just lovely with glorious, jewel colours. There is... More

The gardens are very small, but there are some nice spots to have a picnic. There is a cafe there but we didn't go. You can walk up a tour for some nice views, but other than that is isn't particularly special.

Lovely atmosphere in the middle of the gardens. Abit on the expensive side but interesting variety of menu. Coffee very nice.

Pretty small site. There's a look out tower with panoramic views, but otherwise there's not much here to get excited about.

The lookout tower gave a beautiful view over picturesque Daylesford. The Autumn leaves were brilliant.

A friend recommended meeting at the cafe run by The Lakehouse owners and I am so glad that she did. The food displayed looked delicious, along with various condiments for sale, and when our chosen dishes arrived we devoured them happily. The hot chocolate was delicious. It was raining and the cafe provided umbrellas in order to reach the outdoor... More

The gardens themselves were very nice With some areas to stroll around however, while we were there they were trimming trees in a few different areas with chainsaws so the peace and quite was well and truely disturbed. Quite a hilly areas in some parts but there is a scenic drive that you can take the car around. Would like... More
