nice peaceful walk around the gardens, in bad weather you can also do the scenic drive in your car. Worth a look.

It's a really good walk. Beautiful trees. Took some really good photos. I like the cafe inside. Not much, but special. Will go again.

It really is worth a drive and a walk through the Botanical Gardens. The historic trees and the cool atmosphere make it worth the visit. There are nice views too and the cafe is good for a cuppa.

There is a scenic drive through the gardens which was a treat with the beautiful autumn foliage. Definitely worth a look if in the area as it will not take a lot of time, but certainly offers a lovely view. A great place to enjoy a picnic lunch or to stretch your legs

We discovered the gardens quite my accident, but what a delight. They are magnificent and you can see why people visited from Melbourne in the early 1900's. It is just a wonderful place to visit and enjoy the peaceful surronds.

Loved the choice of menu - something for everyone. Excellent wine and warm but lots of natural light. Great place for coffee or fine dining or just to enjoy the views.

These gardens are pleasant but not enough flat walking places and hardly any flowers. The begonias looked so wilted and sad. But ok for a drive around the track.

It's up a HILL, the title should really have given it away for me. If you're not comfortable walking up what felt like almost vertical slope from the centre of town to get there then I would drive. There is a little cafe up there too where you could have a bite to eat and a coffee. The gardens themselves... More

The family all travelled from melbourne and other places to meet for lunch and get to gether and we did pick a great spot. The gardens where lovely for the family gardeners to investigate but on our visit the park was pretty full with most tables used so get there early. Recommend to all for a day out
