This is a great little cafe hidden in the garden. It's a little walk from the car park. The views up on the hill are great. The service we received was so lovely, well done on happy smiling faces on such a chilly day. The menus is great. Fresh salads with a difference. Beetroot and pear was divine. The specials... More

We stayed at the Forget Me NotGarden Cottages and it was just a 2 minute stroll into the gardens. This is a beautiful garden and because we had such a nice day we got a picnic hamper from the Wombat cafe and had a picnic in the garden. We will be back

The cafe is excellent with great coffee and some really interesting food options. The gardens are also good with some interesting exotic species.

We are so lucky to have this beautiful place to enjoy all year around. The gardens are over 150 years old and are included in Victoria's Heritage Register. There is a drive all the way around, plenty of parking at the top, a lookout, a cafe, a seasonal begonia display, a secluded fernery and a clearly defined walking track. In... More

Hidden deep in the Botanical Gardens is this truly warm and inviting cafe with a simply great menu. Thoroughly enjoyed lunch with a colleague, so easy to chat, relax and enjoy the food. Service was exceptional, even offering for us to taste the wine before choosing a glass. Loved it! Highly recommend

Walked the Scenic Drive rather than driving. You can see so much more. The views are magnificent. The clouds had lifted and the sun was out. Made for a truly amazing day. Really beautiful part of Australia. Should not be missed.

Gardens are set high above the town. Lots of old trees but not a lot in the way of gardens when we visited although the hellebores were wonderful. There's a scenic drive although the views are blocked by vegetation for much of the drive. There's a carpark at the top of the gardens with a tower to climb. Lots of... More

This historic garden features a century old avenue of elms , fern grove and cafe with excellent coffee. Great plants at wholesale prices are available on Thursday mornings from the volunteers shed!

A very small garden but quite nice. It was raining when we went so we just drive around, there's some nice views. Unfortunately the cafe was closed when we had expected it to be open to stop for a coffee. Can imagine it would be a bit better on a nice day!
