Been here many times. But haven't been here for a few years. Nice lake, lots to see in area. Great for family vacation. Disappointed to be paying more ($32 a night no services) for disgusting bathrooms, full garbage, and locked wood lot on cold rainy days. Is this a new managing company (westward bound)or just over worked employees? Disappointed to... More

Goldeye Lake is an absolutely beautiful mountain lake a few miles west of Nordegg. There is a lodge that caters to medium to larger groups, conventions, anniversaries, weddings, and many other groups. It is a beautiful place to go either in Summer or Winter. Don't forget to bring that fishing pole, great great fishing experience.

Very clean and well maintained campsite. The lake is small and easy to paddle around. It is quite shallow but very clear. You can't be on the lake for more than 3 minutes without seeing or hearing a fish jump. There is a great short walking trail around the lake as well. Washrooms are kept clean and the fire supply... This is one of the three lakes we visited while we were in Nordegg for a holiday (along with Fish lake and Jackfish lake) and it was our favourite of the three. We didn't camp there, but we have decided that we will someday. The campground looked pretty nice, and even though it was full, it was pretty quiet and... More

Beautiful little lake. Campground has small campsites but are still nice. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout. Fishing at this lake is great. Caught several decent sized fish. Would recommend this place to people who love the outdoors

We were lucky enough to get one of the drive-through campsites right on the lake. It was a beautiful spot with a view of the lake and surrounded by trees so very private. The hiking trail around the lake was great and the swimming / dock area was really nice as well. If we would have had better weather we... More

When out on a day trip for 3 hours and off the boat we caught a huge 23 inch rainbow. I would recommend this lake.

Good fishing. And well kept stalls. Only complaint was the hazard trees around the stall. Lots of dead standing timber. I would be nervous in a tent if the wind picked up!

Five minutes drive west from Nordegg is this nice little lake and campground. We were looking for somewhere that the kids could swim from shore if they wanted and that we could put our canoe in and fish - we were able to do both here. The campground beside the lake has approximately 20 sites, but only 3 could accommodate... More

I camped last year and I have to say that is is a beautiful place, very peaceful and the people selling the firewood was just fantastic. Upon arrival at our campsite we happen to see deer grazing in the back. that was a beautiful site to see. I highly recommend going to this place if you want a beautiful relaxing... More
