Great way to spend a couple of hours. The course is run at a good pace, high quality ingredients are provided and plenty of food to take home.

I attended Tideswell School of Food as a birthday present and I have to say it was one of the best presents I've had. A fun day in a relaxed friendly environment and the best bit is you get to take away all the food you have made! Would seriously recommend the school. 'I'll be back!'.

My husband bought my two daughters and myself gift vouchers for Tideswell School of Food. We went for the Italian Indulgence and all had a great time. The dishes were simple to make but really tasty. Will definitely make them home. We picked up quite a few tips about chopping, seasoning and tasting. I would like to try one of... More

Was led on a course with 3 other people by Alex. This was an introduction to brewing and was given to me as a gift. Really enjoyed the day. Was led along the process of brewing and between brewing stages we were introduced to a few different beers. Really infirmative and lots of fun. My beer should be delivered soon... More

Can thoroughly recommend the Introduction to Brewing course. What Kevin the Brewer doesn't know about the art of turning water, malt, hops and yeast into beer isn't worth knowing!!! Not only do you get to know the process of brewing and do it yourself, you get to know the science behind the process which is more important than I ever... More

I visited Tideswell School of Food for their day of learning to cook 'Street Food'. We made a wide variety of dishes - Flat breads, Gyoza, Salt & Pepper Fish, Spicy lamb, with chutneys and dipping sauces - with plenty to take home which made for a very tasty supper. The staff were brilliant, whipping dirty dishes away, and ingredients... More

I went with a friend on an evening Thai cookery course. It was brilliant. Chef Joe was very informative and thorough but kept the whole evening light hearted and good fun. We cooked some very tasty food which we brought home (plenty for 2 people). Everything ran very smoothly with thanks to the very efficient kitchen helpers. Checking out the... More

My father gave me a gift voucher for Tideswell at Christmas and we agreed we would both attend a course together. We spent some weeks looking at the website and deciding upon one we would both enjoy (and the selection is huge), before settling on the Intermediate level "World Street Foods". There was a bit of an issue booking online... More

We had a great evening out at the vegetarian cooking class. Price was extremely good value. Chef Joe was very helpful and accommodating. Really informative and would love to come back and learn more. The dishes we cooked were simple but very tasty and could easily be done at home.
