Visited here for an owl experience which was first class . Several species of owls were shown and the opportunity to lean all about each of them . Everyone given gauntlets so individually could have time with each bird and encouraged to stroke them , plenty of photo opportunities. Great for all ages especially education and fun for children. Karen brought us an Owl Experience for our wedding anniversary from Groupon. The 3 of us joined a party of around 30 people. We all received a warm welcome and went to sit in a large shed. The evening was hosted by two young people and their knowledge, enthusiasm and love for the magnificent birds in their care was infectious.... More

As in my previous review this is part of the National Forest and again is a truly wonderful place. The falconry experience is magnificent but as an all round family day out it's up with the best.A great place for us too 'get on yer bike' with our offsprings and get back to life's simpler pleasures. The experience is an outdoor treat... Fantastic evening. I was given this 3 hour bird of prey experience as a gift. It was a great night, being able to handle a variety of different owls. The staff were very friendly and had excellent knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with a hot drink before and staff were happy to answer any questions. The... More

I was very impressed with my falconry day , particularly the knowledge of our guide (Shane). With a wide variety of birds , all set in a country forest setting. We would definitely recommend a visit to this attraction..

My husband booked the golden eagle experience day via Amazon and what a day we had! The beautiful weather helped but it was the magnificent eagles who were the stars of the show with David and James in a supporting and entertaining role. The day began with a lecture and slide show from David who is a leading authority on... More

An evening with owls, it was a lovely day and the weather was good. The falconer was a lovely chap, funny and very interesting. The birds were fantastic and very tame, so nice to see them well cared for. It would have been nice to see them flown outside. The other staff, a very knowledgeable young lady and another young... Stunning surroundings, get to play with Birds, sounds great. The truth is - you pay for your bird experience, then you arrive (3 more quid to park), you have to take someone (10 quid to spectate), you hand your voucher to get in in a gift shop and are told to meet the guide in the coffee shop - subtle,...
