This is great experience the guys are so knowledgable about the owls. The experience of handling and flying different owls is amazing. It was a great opportunity to be up close to these beautiful birds. I would recommend this experience. I made a day of it and looked around The Forest Centre as well. Its a a good place to... More

Having read some reviews I was a little apprehensive about booking. I booked through woucher for my husband. Found the place with no problems large carpark £2.50 to park all day or £1 an hour. Booked in with no problems staff very friendly a further £10 for spectators which we were aware of. Start time was 2pm area was clean... More

What a fabulous day thanks to Darren, the Falconer. Visited with my husband, whose treat it was. He got to handle owls, falcons and even an eagle. Why isn't Rosliston advertised more. We live in the area but had no knowledge this place existed. Will certainly be going back to take my four year old grandson as there is lots... More

Over the summer holidays I made another trip to the Forestry Centre to attend an Owl Experience, however, it was a little disappointing as we were indoors, not outside so I've just booked myself another one ensuring that it will be outside. This is a favourite place for me as it has some lovely walks and a nice restaurant. Occasionally... More

Visited with my three children and had three hours which was amazing. So interesting to spend time with the different owls which we were allowed to hold and to be told information about them. We had the owls fly to and from us and felt comfortable at all times. We took many pictures of the day and it was fun... More

If not the review on Google site posted last week. It s a load of rubbish. I have my wife on mobility scooter and my daughter in a wheelchair, plus our website. Had no problem getting around it. The only problem was over priced food in the cafe. . £2.50 for a portion of frozen chips which where under cooked.... More

Went to the Forestry centre to the birds of prey activity where you handle birds of various kinds for about 3 hours Excellent facility and experience but much more to it than that the centre is a nature wonderland if you have time to explore Update Have been back in the summer and it truly is a wild life haven... I am a falconry (hawk really) enthusiast and have visited Dales Falconry near Settle for a day's experience with 3 people to 1 falconer - excellent value for money and fascinating to boot; several others up and down the country on similar basis, never disappointed. Rosliston's Falconry Experience is what I would call a swizz! My son bought me the... More

My daughter and son in law paid for me to go for an afternoon and we were able to join in with "flying" the beautiful birds they have there. We had to wear a protective glove, hold up our hands and the birds flew to us. Am amazing time. Would definitely recommend.

We took our three grandchildren here for the day - First impression was okay but then on closer inspection it becomes apparent that the place nwould benefit from a little investment or TLC. There was litter all around the crazy golf course - some of the grass matting was worn through and one of the wooden sculptures had fallen over... More
