You only pay 3 pound parking here, no entry fee which in these days is a rare thing. There is so much ground for some beautiful walks. The outdoor play area is huge and the boys loved it. We walked through a sensory garden, saw the owls and some sculptures. On the day we went you could play laser combat... More

We booked an evening two hour owl flying experience and can thoroughly recommend it for an informative, engaging hands-on experience with a big range of owls - from little ones to the huge Siberian Eagle owl. The handlers' enthusiasm is infectious and they have a lot of interesting information to impart. This experience is ideal for all ages, even small... More

My husband was bought this experience for fathers day. We both went, what a fabulous evening entertainment. The beautiful owls we saw and were able to handle , with the appropriate gloves, was amazing such beautiful creatures. The two young men had so much knowledge about the owls , they were excellent and very entertaining. A super way to spend... More

When Sunday afternoon the falconry experience what a wonderful experience the birds were magnificent standing so proud, flying from one person to another with so much grace . The staff done everything possible to make the experience enjoyable for everyone including spectators. A big thank you to everybody involved. We took my mother in law who is wheelchair bound and... A great place to visit, but unfortunately like a lot of our attractions very poorly maintained. There are benches rotting away for lack of attention, a lot of overgrown area's, in the bird watch shed, a pile of rubbish swept into a corner etc etc.

As a family with five kids, we are always on the look out for good value days out. This was great. There were plenty of things to look at. There was archery and a ball pit and bird handling on offer for a small charge and a fab park. Our youngest is 18 months and eldest is 10 and all... More

Just completed a visit to Falconry Experiences based at Rosliston near Swadlincote. Despite the wet weather I had a fantastic time. We started with a quick talk on how to handle the birds. We then lined up and were given gauntlets to handle the birds. Then the first bird, a Barn Owl which once perched on the gauntlet we could... More
